Overview

Dos Rios 70 is a brand-new luxury vacation rental with ocean views, a private pool, and complete privacy within the gated Mar Vista resort community. The property includes two separate houses on the same lot, making it ideal for two families or groups traveling together. The entire two-building property is rented as one unit and is surrounded by pristine tropical forest.

The Space

Located at the highest point of Mar Vista, Dos Rios 70 offers dramatic Pacific Ocean views, spectacular sunsets, and forest scenery from its private 50-foot infinity-edge pool. Howler monkeys can often be heard moving through the surrounding dry tropical forest.

The property combines luxury, comfort, and flexibility while maintaining complete privacy, with no neighboring properties nearby.

Dos Rios 70 consists of two split-level buildings connected by an upper deck and breezeway:

• Main house with four bedrooms and six bathrooms
• Guest house with two bedrooms and three full bathrooms
• Capacity for up to 18 guests
• Reliable high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property
• Entire property rented as one unit

Guest House

The smaller guest house is located on the right side when facing the ocean.

Upper Level

The guest house has two bedrooms on the upper level:

• Main bedroom with a king bed, vaulted ceiling, two closets, and a spacious en suite bathroom with a dual vanity and walk-in shower with a bench
• Second bedroom with a queen bed, one closet, and an en suite bathroom with a walk-in shower
• Blackout shades in both bedrooms
• Televisions without cable
• Ceiling fans and air conditioning
• High-quality mattresses and linens
• Spectacular ocean views through sliding doors opening onto the shared balcony

The shared balcony provides access to the upper breezeway connecting the guest house to the main house.

A travel crib can be arranged through the concierge team upon request, subject to availability and an additional fee.

Main Level

The guest house’s main level includes:

• Third bedroom with a queen bed, one closet, and a desk with an adjustable office chair
• Fourth bedroom with two bunk beds, each with a full-size bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top

The fourth bedroom has a Jack-and-Jill bathroom shared only with the office. If the office is not being used, the bathroom is exclusively for the bunk room.

The upstairs office is available only upon special request for an additional $150 plus tax per night. It includes:

Tennis, pickleball, basketball, gym access, and yoga classes are not included with the rental and require an additional fee. Daily and weekly passes are available. The ocean-view clubhouse, infinity pool with swim-up bar, hiking and biking trails, and 24/7 security are available at no additional cost.

Guests receive benefits through the property membership at the nearby Costa Rica Sailing Center:

• 50% discount on kayak and stand-up paddleboard rentals

Guests must make reservations directly with the sailing center.

Security Cameras and Check-In

The property has five security cameras installed around the exterior:

• Two cameras on the corners of the guest house covering the backside of the mountain
• One camera on the corner of the main house monitoring the front area and main entrance
• One camera at the rear corner of the main house monitoring the back perimeter
• One camera in the driveway and garage

For security purposes, the identification of the person who made the reservation must be presented at check-in.

Construction Notice

Due to ongoing construction nearby, some dust or daytime noise may occur. The neighbors have been asked to minimize disturbances as much as possible, but this situation is beyond the property owner’s control.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire property except for the owners’ closet.
