“Gualiva,” meaning “the road home” in Panche, the Indigenous language of the region, is a private villa set within a native tropical rainforest reserve at 1,200 meters above sea level. It sits in a secluded valley between Sasaima and La Vega.

Staff services are mandatory for all stays and are paid separately from the rental directly on-site in cash at COP 60,000 per day.
A dedicated house staff member is on-site daily from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to provide full housekeeping and prepare meals using ingredients supplied by guests.

The 11:00 AM check-out time is strictly enforced. Late departures are automatically charged as an additional full night.
Maximum Occupancy
The base price is designed for groups of up to six guests. Parties of seven or eight guests are subject to an additional fee per guest, per night, reflecting the increased use of the villa, staff, and facilities.

The property, both the house and the grounds of the estate, are very, very nice, especially for people who want to enjoy nature. The service provided by the two people who look after the guests is also very good, and we really had a very special few days. Highly recommended.

It's truly a paradise! The house is very comfortable, spacious and complete. Everything is clean and organized. It's a place to rest, connect with nature, and recharge. Yuli and Francisco's service was impeccable. They are warm and willing. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is a hidden gem in the middle of the mountains. The house is beautiful and cozy. The landscape, the trees, the fruit trees, the birds, make you forget the stress of everyday life and connect with the essentials. Anita was super friendly from the start. The family that takes care of the house was super. Francisco and Yulieth are lovely, very helpful and friendly. They have several super friendly dogs, and you can tell they are loved and cared for, something that doesn't always happen with animals in rural areas in Colombia. We went in two cars, a van and a low car. The low car had a little trouble at the entrance, but it made it. We definitely recommend this place and hope to come back often.

A hidden gem in the middle of the mountains is the only way I can describe this stay. If you're looking to be completely off the grid (with access to the internet), this is the place. Peaceful, beautiful surroundings and completely immersed in nature, we felt our stay was the much-needed breather we needed from our busy workdays. The property is impeccably maintained. Anita was super responsive and answered all of our questions. In the property, Francisco and Julieth were super attentive, respectful, and obliging. The pool was great, and the walk to the river bordering the property was really nice as well. The only downside was that we couldn't extend our stay for more days. Looking forward to coming back soon!
