This was probably one of the coolest places I’ve ever stayed at. Walkable to amazing restaurants and historic sites, we loved it! Michael was so responsive and helpful. Angelica cooked authentic Guatemalan food for us every morning. She was such a sweetheart! Manuel made sure everyone had made it in for the evenings as he answered the door faithfully. Thanks so much for a wonderful family trip!

Michael's home is, by far, the best AirBnB experience in Antigua! I stayed there for 4 1/2 days with my spouse, toddler, and 3 other family members. The home itself is stunning and in pristine condition - the photos don't do it justice! The home combined modern convenience with rustic appeal. The pool was solar heated. There were two outdoor garden spaces with fountains - we had hummingbird visitors! There were also two hammocks overlooking a garden. There is no A/C but a fan was provided in the master bedroom. It can get humid, but there were a couple dehumidifiers. Mosquitoes can be annoying, so bring repellent. Laundry was a helpful on-site amenity. Angelica made us a delicious breakfast every day and the cost was $40/day (plus the cost of groceries ($25/day). Angelica and the caretaker Manuel don't speak English, but both were very caring. The home is two blocks from the central park and walkable. It's on a quiet block. Ubers were $4 to anywhere in town. Thanks!!

Michael was very hospitable. I highly recommend to stay in this place. It felt very unique, clean and luxurious. I would say it made Antigua feel like a much more enjoyable experience. Thank you, Micheal!

Amazing place to stay at in Antigua. It’s very spacious with all the comfort you need and more. Very enjoyable if you are planning a trip with a group of six to eight people. Contact with the host is great and fast. The staff is very friendly

We had a lovely stay at Michael's. The villa is ideally located in the center of Antigua. The main square, shops, and restaurants are within walking distance. The villa is very large and very well maintained, with several areas set up so that everyone can relax in peace. Bedding quality. Although the exceptionally cool weather for the season didn't make us want to swim, the heated water in the pool would have been perfect for it. We benefited from the home cooking services, which allowed us to enjoy hotel-quality service with the privacy of a private villa. A nice place to recommend.

Staying here isn’t just about accommodation; it feels like stepping into a piece of the city’s history. The villa is incredibly atmospheric and full of colonial character that make you feel like you are experiencing Antigua the way it must have been centuries ago. This stay adds so much to the overall experience! The host was very responsive and helpful. He also offered additional services that made everything smooth and easy to organize. A special mention goes to Manuel, the live-in caretaker, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. His warm presence really added a personal touch to this location. Overall, a fantastic stay in a unique and character-filled property. If you want a place that enhances the whole Antigua experience rather than just somewhere to sleep, this villa absolutely delivers.

This place is absolutely stunning and in the perfect location. The staff are incredibly friendly and the stay was amazing. It is right in the center of town, with virtually everything within walking distance. I can’t say enough positive things about the place.
