Cooking and Utilities
- Cooking uses propane tanks since Costa Rica has no gas pipelines. Tanks last a long time but can run out unexpectedly. Spare tanks are provided, and assistance is available for replacements.
- Hot water is powered by electricity, not gas.
Wildlife and Cleanliness
- To avoid ants, store food in the fridge or sealed containers. Leaving food out will attract ants over time.
- The area is home to various insects and animals such as ants, geckos, lizards, spiders, mosquitoes, roaches, mice, bats, snakes, and occasionally scorpions (which are not dangerous).
Toilets
- Do not flush toilet paper as there is no drainage system in town. Use the bin provided next to the toilet.

The house is in an unbeatable location! Close to the main beaches, close to supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants, pharmacy. You can walk to Playa del Carmen. The house is on a very beautiful lot with fruit trees that provide shade and keep the house cool even in hot weather. It is also a very quiet, peaceful, and safe location.

A really great bungalow, right next to the ocean and shops, but still secluded from the road with vegetation, animals, monkeys, howler monkeys, birds, and iguanas. Absolutely wonderful!! Perfect for my stay, no complaints. Approved!!!!!😊

Perfect location and setting! The proximity to the road makes the place a little noisy, but if you want to be close to everything, and possibly save on a car, you have to accept it. The surrounding vegetation is splendid and, compared to the surroundings, the accommodation is quite dark. The only real downside is the condition and cleanliness of the BA. Everything else is fine

The place is extremely cozy, very clean and perfectly tidy, as shown in the pictures. It exceeded our expectations and we really enjoyed our stay. Without a doubt, a place we recommend and to which we would love to return.

There were three of us and we had a perfect stay. We stayed in Santa Teresa for 5 nights, and it was hard for us to move on, even though we still had almost 4 weeks ahead of us. You immediately feel comfortable; everything you need is provided, and the beach is just a few minutes away. The location is ideal; it is quiet and perfectly connected. There are geckos, iguanas, and pretty birds in the garden, and we also had a visit from an opossum and a troop of monkeys. You sleep wonderfully; I especially enjoyed the night in the hammock. Thanks for the wonderful time, highly recommended!
