The front door is just half a block from the town center, providing easy access to the idyllic life of El Jardín and convenient walks throughout the Centro Histórico. Behind the thick adobe walls of the original façade, however, guests will find exceptional peace, privacy, and seclusion.
Outdoor Dining and Sunset Views
The central patio, centered around a large stone fountain, is the focal point of Casa Piña Sma. The south-facing outdoor living and dining room is a favorite throughout the year. It fills with warm winter sunlight and remains cool and shaded during the summer as the sun travels farther north.
This inviting space is ideal for spending the day, entertaining, or hosting a comida with friends and family.
At sunset, the rooftop mirador is the perfect place to begin the evening or reflect on the day. The sky comes alive with color as the sun disappears behind the distant mountains.

This house was absolutely amazing! Words cannot begin to describe how beautiful this place was, pictures do not do justice, probably top of my list. Located a few minutes walk from the quintessential town center and parroquia. The staff was super helpful and breakfast in the morning made you feel right at home. Looking forward to our return next year.

We had the most wonderful time staying here! Everything was perfect- Guadalupe was so friendly and her breakfasts were fabulous! Everything was clean and the house felt very authentic and was very comfortable. The location was incredible! The only slight negative was some mosquitoes- some people in our group had a few bites, so bring bug repellant if you plan on using the outdoor living room. The plants were beautiful and overall, everything was absolutely wonderful.

Beautiful Airbnb in an excellent location on the most photographed Street in San Miguel. It would’ve been nice to have a manual with recommendations for dining/galleries and shows. The staff is very nice but don’t speak English so it is best to learn some basics before you arrive. The pictures online do not do this place justice.

We are still talking about how beautiful your home was, it was such a breath of fresh air. Her son Austin was helpful and ready to greet us as soon as we arrived, Guadalupe had wonderful margaritas and guac ready for us. Everything was clean and freshly changed out each day. The pictures do not do this place justice, it was breathtaking. The area feels private but is just minutes walk from the Plaza, very safe and easy to access.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Piña. Aleida was very responsive and thorough with directions and house guides and Guadalupe made our arrival very welcoming. Other than the house being very beautiful and just as pictured, it is located on a very popular street known for its amazing views of the parish which you can also see from the many terrazas in the house. The casa was a peaceful getaway from the bustle of the streets. We enjoyed walking to La Colmena for fresh bread and coffee in the mornings and back to the plaza in the evening to admire the parish and mariachis. And most importantly, Guadalupe’s breakfast every morning was the highlight of our day. She was such a joy and my littles enjoyed her warm candor. Lorena also kept the rooms very tidy and clean and assisted with our laundry. We plan to return soon! This place is a real gem.
