The Space

Casa Querencia is a spacious, fully air-conditioned villa located in a private, secluded area in the heart of Manuel Antonio. The villa features six bedrooms, five and a half bathrooms, and a game room. It offers stunning views of Costa Rica's highest peaks and the valley below.

Set amidst a tropical jungle, Casa Querencia—which means "the place you feel most at home" in Spanish—is conveniently close to beautiful beaches, lively shopping areas, and excellent restaurants. The property includes a private infinity pool and balconies on every level, providing peaceful spots to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The villa is designed to create a memorable experience for you and your guests. You can enjoy a delicious barbecue in the outdoor dining area, take a refreshing swim in the pool, or admire spectacular views of the jungle, mountains, and distant ocean from any of the balconies.

The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with an ice maker and water dispenser in the refrigerator, two ovens, a professional stove top, and all the necessary appliances for preparing meals, whether by you or an optional private chef. The dining area features a ten-seat table crafted from native hardwoods.

The living room includes an extra-large U-shaped sectional sofa, perfect for relaxing and watching movies on the large screen TV. Adjacent to the living room is a game room with a pool table, another large screen TV, and comfortable seating.

Each level has a balcony furnished with stylish outdoor furniture, ideal for observing local wildlife such as monkeys and exotic birds.

Please note that although the villa has six bedrooms, the rate shown for groups of eight or fewer applies to four bedrooms only. To use five bedrooms, the group size must be adjusted to ten people, and for all six bedrooms, twelve people are required. Rates are based on two guests per bedroom. Upon arrival, all bedrooms will be available for you to choose your preferred rooms; the remaining bedrooms will be closed off. The villa is exclusively reserved for your group during your stay, and no other guests will be renting the property.

Health and Safety Measures

To ensure your safety, Casa Querencia follows guidelines from the World Health Organization and the Costa Rican Ministry of Health regarding sanitation and social distancing:

1. Hosts will maintain social distancing during your arrival.
2. Hand sanitizer gel is available at the front door entrance for guest use.
3. Housekeeping and maintenance staff wear face masks at all times.
4. The villa is thoroughly disinfected before guest arrival and after departure.
5. The property is exclusively for your group, with no shared spaces with other guests.

Important Information

• For last-minute bookings within 60 days, maid service is provided every other day. Additional cleaning can be arranged for $25 per day—please contact your host to schedule.
• Laundry facilities are not available for guest use.
• A refundable cash deposit of $400 to $500 (depending on group size) is required at check-in to cover any damages or missing items.
• The villa’s bedroom usage and rates are as follows:
  • Up to 8 guests: 4 bedrooms
  • Up to 10 guests: 5 bedrooms
  • Up to 12 guests: all 6 bedrooms
• Rates are based on two guests per bedroom.
• Upon arrival, all bedrooms will be open for you to select your preferred rooms; unused bedrooms will be closed.
• The villa is not rented to other guests during your stay.
• Additional guests are not allowed without prior permission from the host.
• Parties and loud music are prohibited after 10:00 pm.
