Fantastic/5 stars: The stay surpassed our expectations. The house was spacious and well furnished. The views/locations/animals all around were outstanding. One of our most memorable stays.

We had an amazing time at Casa Querencia! The view was spectacular and we had everything we needed. We definitely enjoyed the pool table and pool. Too bad the monekys didn't visit us during our stay!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is spacious. The views are phenomenal. Practically every room has a balcony that overlooks the rainforest. The staff helped coordinate and book our excursions and provided good recommendations. Our concierge Sidney and Carlos was friendly and very responsive. Paola kept the house pristine. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to chill with a group this is the place.

Beautiful home and an incredible immersive experience in the heart of Manuel Antonio! Our party of 10 was very comfortable. There were so many quiet places to read or enjoy the wildlife. The pool was refreshing after a day of sight seeing and the kitchen was well equipped to cook for our large group. The housekeeping staff was top notch and a beloved addition after long hot days on the beach. This is our second visit to Costa Rica and the wildlife experience at this house was incredible. Monkeys (both titi and capuchin) swung by each day. Birds, iguanas, frogs, and the occasional agouti would wander or fly by. Sunrises were breathtaking we had the sound of the jungle to lull us to sleep. Don’t hesitate to stay here. Pure magic!

I stayed at this home with 7 others while organizing excursions in Costa Rica, and Casa Querencia left us speechless. The cleanliness was top-notch, and check-in was easy. Carlos gave us a tour upon arrival, showing us where to find towels and rooms. His English is excellent, and he’s very friendly and funny, explaining every detail of the house. All the travelers were thrilled—just 10 minutes in, everyone was calling their families to show them the house! It’s spacious, beautiful, and elegant—the pictures don’t do it justice. All rooms have AC, while common areas don’t yet, but it was a great way to enjoy Costa Rica’s tropical climate. We were told AC will be added soon. We hired a chef through them and couldn’t be happier. Choko made amazing food, fresh fruits, and natural juices, even offering a gluten-free menu. We’re so happy with our stay that we’d definitely contact them again for future trips

This was a spectacular place to stay. We loved the location on the rainforest, and we were lucky enough to have 2 visits from Capuchin monkeys during our 3 night stay. We also enjoyed hearing the howler monkeys one evening at dusk! The place was fully equipped for the cooking we did. We loved the private balconies that we each could enjoy! As other reviews mentioned, there is no Air conditioning in the open kitchen and living room area. We spent our evenings together in the air conditioned game room. (If I had one suggestion, it would be that the seating in there would be better for lounging for an evening movie.) Though this house provides plenty of room for several people, I would only recommend this place for older children and adults. You must be in shape if you want to be able to go up and down the steps for the various levels. With the multiples sets of open staircases, I would be concerned if I had young children or seniors who needed help. (The photos show the stairs.)

The house is absolutely stunning! We were a group of 8 and everyone had lots of privacy with various outdoor sitting places and hammocks. Each room had a private bathroom and the AC was quite a d cold! The game room with the pool table was our nightly get together space. Our cleaning ladies were absolutely fantastic, they did our laundry and provided each day enough towels. We loved the kitchen area with the huge wooden table and all dishes and pots were super clean. This house is absolutely luxurious and the photos you see on Airbnb does not reflect how beautiful the decor and interior is. Our host Carlos was always available when needed. He organized a Chef for us one night and the dinner was delicious! We definitely recommend Fernando’s house and hope we can return soon!

Our stay at Casa Querencia was incredible! Our group comprised two families with four adults and five teenage children. Carlos, our host, was extremely responsive - both before and during our trip. He answered any and all questions and gave great recommendations on where to go, eat, etc. The house had more than enough space and was beautiful and clean. The main living/common areas do get warm without central AC, but this is just part of the experience. The pool and bedrooms were a great escape when we needed to cool down. We spent every morning watching the sunrise from the balcony off the kitchen, listening to birds and looking for wildlife. We were visited by monkeys during the day multiple times and they put on quite a show. The adventures that we arranged through our concierge all turned out to be amazing as well - we had fun, learned a ton, and always felt safe. Highly recommend this house and experience!

Awesome house! Everything was just the way it was described. Close to restaurants, shops, and beach. Definitely recommend !!
