Finca del Sol is a small, family-run eco-lodge situated on the flanks of Volcano Madaras. The 11.5-acre property consists mostly of tropical dry forest, offering opportunities to see wildlife such as howler monkeys, rabbits, frogs, and various bird and butterfly species.

Guest Access

Additional Information

• The key is available on-site between 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Late check-ins must be arranged via email.
• The hosts live on the property but may come and go during the day; guests are encouraged to communicate their arrival time.
• Friendly dogs live on-site, creating a welcoming, home-like atmosphere.
• The property is rich in wildlife, including birds, butterflies, bees, monkeys, frogs, toads, spiders, and small bats. These animals are harmless and contribute to the area's natural beauty.
• The only venomous animal on the island is the timid coral snake, which is rarely seen.
• Ometepe Island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve known for its biodiversity and natural charm.
