11/10 experience. We were sold on this place based on other reviews and it did not disappoint. Our family rented 2 of the 3 casitas and we had the whole property to ourselves! David welcomed us when we arrived at midnight with a welcome packet and flashlights in hand. From the very begging he was incredibly friendly and provided the best recommendations. We brought our 1 year old who had a blast with the dogs on the property, Luna and Chiquita, playing by the pool, and eating fresh bananas multiple times a day. David generously shared some of his fruits and other plants on the property. He gifted us some fresh turmeric, mango, and cacao beans to enjoy in our casita. He also gave us an amazing tour of the property and was so knowledgeable about the foods he was growing. We had so much fun tasting things and guessing what they were. We truly couldn’t recommend this place more. It exceeded our expectations and a week did not feel like enough.

I would STRONGLY recommend this place to anyone who loves Nature and wants to stay near Manuel Antonio. The expansive property, casita, pool, and wildlife are all spectacular—from the pool alone, we managed to see more than 30 different species of birds fly overhead (including at least 3 varieties of toucans). David and Mariya are both very kind individuals working on an incredible project. This was one of the coolest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed at.

A few words to describe my stay: magical, relaxing, rejuvenating, private, safe. David was friendly and I immediately felt at home. His recommendations were spot on from a local horseback ride to a waterfall, to restaurants in Quepos and best coffee on my way through town. He even took me to a local river spot which was refreshing to swim and watch the wildlife. He was always responsive to any questions I had and assistance with making coffee the costa rican way. My only wish would have been to have a much longer time to stay. I took walks through the farm to a creek where I saw some frogs, cool butterflies, turtle and a big orb weaving spider. I enjoyed my time with his two dogs Luna and Chiquita who were just fun to watch. The highlight of the trip was definitely soaking up the pristine pool water, watching the toads catch cicadas and being refreshed by the long hikes, surfing, horseback riding.

David’s place is absolutely immaculate. He is a genuinely wonderful person who cares deeply about the paradise he built and sharing that with his guests. We had a few very unrelated issues on our trip and David was so kind and helpful. Truly above and beyond. Thank you again David!

We had a wonderful time at Finca Paraíso Verde. David was very helpful and kind. The finca is beautiful and surrounded by lots of trees, beautiful plants, and of course nature, for example hummingbirds. Our casita was comfortable and clean. Luna and Chiquita were a total delight, and they probably needed a break from our 8 year old after a while. The pool was also beautiful and a great diversion for a kid. David answered questions, showed us trees and plants being cultivated, and gave us ideas for where to eat and what to do in the area. We also got to meet Mariya, who was lovely. Highly recommended.

This finca is a special place where you are connected with nature. The host David is extremely friendly and knows nature and animals very well. He lives in harmony with nature and preserves a 14 hectare rainforest/jungle in which many animals live. Monkeys, iguanas, toucans, parrots and much more. To the beaches it is about 15 minutes by car. Also to the famous Manuel Antonio National Park it is only 20 minutes. The nearby Rio can be a super nice refreshment in the summer months. I can only recommend everyone to visit this finca in Costa Rica and enjoy the nature and the right peace of the rainforest for a few days. The pool is beautiful and everything is very private and clean. We thank David for the beautiful days here.

This place is paradise, with fruit trees, huge backyard with forest and river where you can hike and enjoy the quiet time privately, and a nice pool to relax. The host is so nice, helpful, friendly and proactive from check-in welcome, place introduction, activity & restaurant recommendation, and we feel at home. Moreover, this place is so unique that we have never experienced before and it is like a wild forest. You can hear birds singing in the morning, enjoy the fresh air, and watch monkeys jumping back and forth upper in the trees right in the yard late in the afternoon. We also did taste different new fruits from the host! 100% recommend David’s place for folks who enjoy true nature and don’t want to stay in a tourist area. We definitely would like to come back if we visit CR again in the future!

David’s place really is a paradise and unlike any Airbnb we’ve stayed at before. Beautiful surroundings, impeccable pool, and a cozy casita. David and his wife made us feel right at home, and were incredibly helpful with directions and recommendations. He called us a taxi from Quepos, and the taxi driver was also wonderful (thank you Wilbert!) and continued to be our taxi driver throughout our time. David taught us about cacao and various other fruits on the property, and generously let us taste them as well. Every day we woke up to the sounds of birds chirping, and were excitedly greeted by the dogs. I don’t know how we will return to regular life! If you’re a nature lover and want to feel connected to where you’re staying while you travel, I would highly recommend staying here. It truly is magical!
