This four-bedroom ocean-view villa is located in Playacar Phase 1, a beautiful gated community just a short walk from the famous Fifth Avenue.
The Space
Casa Grande is a relatively new villa that offers the comforts of home, including:
- A fully equipped kitchen
- Laundry facilities
- Free Wi-Fi
- Free Vonage calling to Canada, the United States, and Mexico
- Cable television from Mexico, Canada, and the United States
- Air conditioning in all bedrooms and common areas
Each of the four bedrooms includes a full en-suite bathroom. There is also a two-piece bathroom on the main level and another on the second-floor patio level.
A private pool at the rear of the home provides a peaceful place to cool off and swim. The newly expanded patio overlooks the ocean, creating a wonderful setting for relaxing and watching the beach.

- The primary bedroom has a king-size bed.
- Two bedrooms each have a queen-size bed.
- The fourth bedroom has two trundle beds that accommodate up to four additional guests.
The villa can comfortably sleep up to eight people.

Sargassum is a natural phenomenon that may appear on Caribbean beaches at different times of the year. Its presence depends on environmental factors beyond our control. As hosts, we cannot guarantee its absence or provide advance notice of its presence during your stay.

Beautiful location and weather! Recommend you come before August due to seaweed. Lots to do: Isla Mujeres, Isla Holbox, and Cousumel!! The 5th street strip has great restaurants and lots to see.. The house has a nice pool and jacuzzi.. with ocean view!

If you come to Playa del Carmen, you will definitely not find a property in better condition than Casa Grande, with hosts who are so attentive to detail. I've been on this platform for years and it's my best experience. Congratulations, Marcelo and Mercedes. Thank you for your attention.

The house has all the amenities. The pool and the jacuzzi are very good. The sea is a few steps away. We had the sargassum that comes these days, but we still enjoyed the sea. The place is very private, very safe, and very quiet. They cleaned the house twice during our stay, cleaning the pool and jacuzzi, which was excellent. You have to wait a little for the hot water to come out in the showers, but everything is fine. The house is excellent and has everything you need, including the kitchen. The service from Mercedes was great. We would definitely stay there again. If you want something private, this is the ideal place.

Stayed here for a full week and honestly had a great experience. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. You can tell the host actually cares about the property. Everything we needed was there, and anything we couldn’t find, the host responded quickly and helped out right away. The location was perfect—convenient and easy to get around, whether we were going out or just relaxing nearby. The space itself felt private and quiet, which made it easy to unwind after a long day. Check-in and check-out were smooth with no issues at all. Overall, solid stay, no surprises (in a good way). Would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable place.

The house and neighborhood was nice and felt safe. Just a lot of little details made it a little bit less than what I was expecting for the price. I don’t want this to sound nit picky but only 2 towels, a very loud creaky bedroom door, a few too many bugs in the kitchen… little things I know. It’s beyond the hosts control, but the beach had a lot of garbage and one day smelled really bad.

Mercedes was always responsive and helpful. She recommended a private chef Daveed who cooked us thanksgiving dinner. Great food. She arranged our airport transportation which was seemless. The cleaning person was wonderful. Well equipped kitchen.
