Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club
- Full access is available for $5 per day, per person. Children under 10 enter free.
- The beach club closes for approximately two weeks in October (exact dates vary).
Construction Notice
There is ongoing construction next door. We have implemented measures such as white noise machines and earplugs to minimize any disturbances. While some days may have more noticeable activity, rates have been significantly reduced to compensate.
During Christmas and New Year bookings, no construction will take place, ensuring a peaceful stay at a great value.

The home is beautiful and the community it is in has everything you need. The host is extremely helpful, proactive and responsive. The staff are amazing and it felt like we were staying at a hotel. The bed are also the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in.

We had a group of 18 staying here. The house was perfect for our size and to accommodate all the families! We absolutely loved the house and the location. It’s a bit further from Tamarindo where there is stuff to do but it was such a beautiful house and location with the ocean view, we barely left! We did UTV tours one day and they came and picked us up and dropped us off at the front door. It was awesome! We had Chef Frender, Juan, and Jorge cook for us one night. They made fajitas with chicken, shrimp, fish, steak, and roast. IT WAS AMAZING! Their food was better than any food eating out. It was absolutely delicious. We ended up doing the premium package which we felt was somewhat worth our money. The ladies made the same exact thing for breakfast every morning so it got a little redundant but was still tasty. Other than that, our stay was perfect! We hated to leave!

This home was such a great experience. It’s even more beautiful in person. My family and I were immediately stunned by the beauty of the home and location when we walked in. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We felt welcome the entire time. 10/10 I would recommend this home.

Elsa was great. The place is amazing and on the beach. Construction next door was a non issue. Elsa was very helpful booking activities and accommodations while we were in Costa Rica. The staff at the house great, breakfast was wonderful every morning, and they keep the place very clean everyday. Highly recommend

The house was absolutely beautiful and the community the house is located in was awesome. Golf course was very fun to play and very well maintained. The beach access at the house was incredible, and the other beach that's better for surfing at the beach club was amazing as well. Unfortunate side is that the beach community of Tamarindo is a little far away, being over a half hour away depending on traffic. However, that's the only complaint, if you can even call it that, that I have about my stay. The housekeepers were very nice, helpful, and the meals they cooked for us were delicious. Elsa was a tremendous host, was very kind, responsive, and gave us great recommendations for activities to do during our stay. Will definitely recommend Stay in Tamarindo to friends and family.

Overall it was a good experience staying in this place. We liked the location and easy access to the beach. The beach was not good for swimming but great place to watch sunset. The house and some of the furnitures inside are pretty old and needs some upgrades. The pool and outdoor patio is pretty new and looks and works very well. The staff were amazing and we considered them as the highlight of this trip. House mom made great breakfast everyday and the cleaners did their best to make this a good overall experience for us.

The Villa was an incredible compound that had 6 rooms and an outdated Casita separate from the house. Bedding and furniture need to be upgraded soon (this I read in another review and it’s seems to be the same still) an incredible view of the ocean but a very rocky beach with a ton of corral so don’t expect to go for morning swims. However the amenities and views could not overcome the lack of effort and communication that the staff and its associates had put forth to blindside our trip with a number of extremely costly and serious health consequences. We had payed for chefs to cook and had politely requested that breakfast be ready by 7:30am to ensure we had an adequate amount of time to be ready for the any activity’s and excursions that we had made plans for, they said they would accommodate our request but each day they were 45 min to an hour late which interfered with plans We had ordered $600+ dollars in food in which we found out 1/4 of the food was expired but not until AFTER 7 people in our group got food poison and had severe reactions to eating expired eggs in which 2 family members needed medical treatment. It wasn’t till after our family suffered that the “chefs” brought moldy and outdated food to us, simply to show it was bad and that they were throwing it away. The chefs we had paid for was not in fact a chef but the maids who got right to cleaning our restrooms, rooms and entire Villa. We are appalled at how we were treated and accused of smoking INSIDE the faculty and had been pressured by management to pay for a fine the amount of our entire 5 day stay. I cannot begin to express the frustration that we had endured and overall the impact that it had of a trip that was supposed to be a nice family getaway. This was one of the most stressful vacations we’ve ever had to live through. With the beautiful house and amazing views I absolutely cannot recommend any of my friends or family’s or associates to reside and go through what we had went through. We will be seeking relief from malicious and exploitative fines.

Casa Costa Blanca is better in real life than the pictures portray (hard to believe). From the beautiful, clean, large home to the resort-like palapa, pool, and private beach our stay was loaded with fun and memories. What made our stay unbelievable was the attention the staff gave our families. Everyday our home was cleaned and immaculate and our breakfast was prepared and delicious. The ladies that took care of all of the daily home and food needs were so kind and willing to do everything and anything, so we could enjoy ourselves and not be preoccupied with chores and cooking! If we could, we would be back next week! Thank you for the awesome vacation-what a blessing! What a home! Thank you Casa Costa Blanca and everyone associated with it! Gracias. Gracias. Gracias.
