The property includes:

• An 8,000-liter water tank for backup storage, as San Juan del Sur and many other homes often experience water shortages
• Multiple uninterruptible power supply batteries to keep the high-speed fiber Wi-Fi running for several hours during short power outages

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom includes:

• Two queen beds accommodating up to four guests
• Modern LG air conditioning
• Powerful ceiling fans above each bed
• Screened windows
• A closet and dresser
• A private bathroom with a bidet
• A connected outdoor tropical shower with hot water, sunken deep into the ground

Guest Bedrooms

Two guest bedrooms are located at the opposite end of the home for added sound privacy. Each room features:

The bedrooms share a private Jack-and-Jill bathroom, which is cleverly divided into three separate areas:

The kitchen and living room share a spacious, open layout. The kitchen includes:

This is our home as well as a rental, so we keep it well stocked and enjoy cooking here.

Covered Outdoor Patio

The covered patio includes:

• A shaded dining area
• A table and countertop seating for 6–8 people

• A gas grill with a side burner
• An outdoor cushioned daybed that separates into a sofa with seats

Shared Saltwater Pool

A few steps up the hill behind the house is a shared saltwater pool and patio overlooking downtown. This area also includes another bathroom and an outdoor shower.

The pool is shared with other guests or with us when we are staying in the studio cabaña, the smaller home on our mini-villa property.

Shared Plunge Tub

At the top of the property, a shared freshwater plunge tub provides a non-heated hot-tub-style lounge area. It accommodates 6–8 people and offers space to relax in the sun or under the moon while enjoying expansive views of the ocean, beach, bustling town, and sunsets.

Your group will have access to:

• The covered outdoor patio

• The grill

The pool, plunge tub, and entrance steps are shared with other guests or with us when we are staying in the studio cabaña on our 1,400-square-meter property.

Parking

Private parking is not available at this downtown home. Small spaces are available only for motorcycles and ATVs.

Free public street parking can be found:

• 50 meters away at the top of the street
• 80 meters away at the bottom of the hill

Secured paid parking is also available near the beach. Contact us if you have questions about parking.

Important Information

Steep Hill Access

The home is located 35 meters above sea level and requires a brief but vigorous climb up a steep hill. Healthy travelers can walk up to the property in approximately 2 minutes.

Although the central location and elevated views are rewarding, the daily climb may be impractical for people with:

• Asthma
• Heart or breathing conditions
• Knee problems
• Injuries
• Walking difficulties

Please confirm that you and your travel companions are comfortable with this short but steep climb.
