Great location for exploring San Miguel! Rooms are all nice and the rooftop very pleasant. One thing to note is that there wasn't a washing machine, which had been listed on the amenities.

Everything was excellent! It's better than in the photos and above all, it's super close to downtown. We kept the trucks in the garage and we didn't need to take them out. Everything was super close walking. Another thing we liked was the daily cleaning, the communication with Casa Tierra was excellent. They were attentive at all times! Each room is super independent and very comfortable! Recommended

Casa Tierra's suites are beautifully apportioned and the property is clean and well maintained. The location is a short walk to the city center and close to many wonderful restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, etc. The host was so accommodating, responsive and helpful. They even helped us arrange for a chef to serve NYE dinner on the rooftop (which is amazing!) before we enjoyed the fireworks. The house is comprised of 6 individual suites, similar to a bed and breakfast or boutique hotel. Each room has a unique keyed lock, so we left the keys in our kids' doors rather than carry around 6 keys when we left the property. There is no kitchen, but every room has a mini fridge and there are plenty of glasses, dishes, etc. Filtered water is available. There is no common indoor space, but the rooftop balcony is even more amazing than in the pictures. The property felt extremely safe and is gorgeous. The housekeeper is wonderful (sadly, no laundry).

Casa Tierra Negra was amazing! The rooftop was a great common space, VERY close and convienent to the Rosewood so if you are attending a wedding there it is in the perfect location. The host was extremely helpful and she helped us higher a private chef that did dinner and two breakfasts for us on the roof top. Daily linen service was amazing. There is also a private courtyard with a locked gate for added safety. I could not recommend this place enough.

We had a group of 12 friends staying at Casa Tierras, so having the whole space to ourselves was a perfect setup. It has the feel of a hotel, yet the coziness of a 3 story home. The rooftop had beautiful views and the elevator was very convenient! Our host, Katia, was very gracious, always helpful, and accommodating our whole trip. The only comment I kept hearing from a few coupled friends on our stay, was that their 2 rooms facing the street and 1 downstairs room were all quite warm (2 rooms out if 6 had air conditioning). I know many of us Americans like to sleep cold haha. Other than that we had a fantastic time there and would absolutely stay again!

We had a great stay with a group of friends here. It’s formerly a boutique hotel so the rooms are all great. There weren’t a ton of bathroom amenities so I’d recommend bringing or buying some beforehand. Other than that, it was a really nice place for a group of couples.

Cant say enough good things about Casa Tierra - the rooms were lovely and the property well maintained. Katia was very helpful with organizing a private chef and helping with restaurant reservations, and giving general recommendations about the area - and the location is unbeatable. You wont regret booking this house.
