Pie in the Sky consists of three separate houses that share common amenities such as a swimming pool, jacuzzi, and BBQ deck. Guests can rent each house individually or reserve the entire complex for complete privacy.
This listing is exclusively for Pie in the Sky #3, a five-bedroom house with five bathrooms that accommodates up to 15 guests. Each bedroom features air conditioning, custom blackout draperies, hotel-quality amenities, and access to the front terrace where the stunning views can be enjoyed.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with fine wood cabinets, granite countertops, and all necessary appliances, making it ideal for preparing meals for large groups.
For relaxation and entertainment, the spring-fed pool and jacuzzi are just steps from the house. The BBQ ranch includes a propane grill, tables, and chairs for outdoor dining.

La Fortuna, a small city offering grocery stores, banks, a post office, restaurants, hot springs, and various excursions, is just a 30-minute drive away.
Getting Around
A rental car is highly recommended for this location. While a few attractions and restaurants are within walking distance, most activities require a drive of 10 to 45 minutes. Relying on taxis is not advised due to potential wait times.

If you want amazing views, you need to stay at pie in thr sky! only 30 minutes from activities in la fortuna and a beautiful property to enjoy. We fully enjoyed the pool, hot tub, outdoor sitting area and the look out tower to view birds. fantastic place to stay!

Pie in the Sky ist eine hervorragende Unterkunft. Die exklusive Lage auf dem Hügel mit Blick auf See und Vulkan ist atemberaubend. Das Haus selber ist fast schon luxuriös, wir haben uns mit 9 Leuten in den 5 Schlafzimmern für die 3 Tage mehr als wohl gefühlt. Bekanntermaßen gibt es auch in der Gegend sehr viel zu sehen und zu besuchen, die Landschaft und Tierwelt ist einfach traumhaft. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit an Freunde und Bekannte empfehlen und gerne beim nächsten Besuch in Costa Rica noch einmal hier wohnen.

We had a wonderful time, we plan on recommending staying here. The manager and the owner were very helpful. The property is beautiful, we spent a lot of time outdoors watching the birds and wildlife, eating breakfast in the gazebo and playing games after dinner there.

Everyone was correct about the location and view - amazing. The house felt very dated and the sheets and pillows all smelled like mildew from too much moisture. We knew it was a shared property but the owner was directly under us and was around all the time. Felt weird for an Airbnb. One night he had his music playing so loud we had to ask HIM to turn it down at 1am. We like to party too but had a super early flight the next morning. But overall the view was amazing.

C'est l'écolodge de rêve! Superbe vue sur le volcan Arenal. Très bon emplacement, à 35 min de La Fortuna, à 10 min de Sky Adventures et de Lilanders Horses. Commodités : piscine, spa, salle à manger extérieure et même une tour d'observation des oiseaux en bonus! L'hôte était très amical et répondait rapidement à nos demandes. Seul bémol : il manquait de rangement pour notre épicerie.

This property was heaven on earth. Absolutely stunning views, even when it was overcast. The grounds were beautiful. We loved having access to the pool, hot tub, grill and covered outdoor seating area. Beds were cozy, plenty of towels for bathing and outdoor activities, well stocked kitchen. Several great restaurants nearby and an easy half hour drive into La Fortuna. We drove into town most days for our adventure excursions but it was always nice to come back to our own personal haven. Owners live on site, super friendly and helpful but were not intrusive. We loved our visits from their sweet pup. We rented based on a FB recommendation and we’re so happy we did. The management company was so helpful and responsive. We were thrilled with the laundry service they offered.
