This place has great space. We mainly booked because it has 4 beds/ 4 baths and had upper, lower places to hang out and take in sea view. The air conditioners worked great, ceiling fans in each room and beds pretty comfy. This house is managed by a company that is right next door and they were super helpful and responsive for our entire stay. Really top notch service. It was a little hard to find due to it's positioning on a dead end road but the management company was on the look out for us and got us where we needed to be along with luggage help. I gave less stars due to it's a bit worn, could use some refreshing and pictures did not match with missing or broken furniture. This house worked for us but would not be good for small children or elderly. The stairs is very open and the furniture is extremely high and hard to climb up on and get off of. Sounds funny but it was a chore to get up and down the chairs. Loved the front porch but not a great beach space to swim or lay out.

This place was absolutely beautiful, if there had not been a loss of power on our first night (with subsequent loss of the fridge that never started working again) that lasted till the next afternoon, this place would have been perfect. I do think that something like this happening is likely not common and I understand that a new fridge is being installed, so I expect that future stays will be better.

I’m writing a review because I rely heavily on reviews when choosing a place to stay. Casa de Bonita was wonderful for our family of 6. It may be important for some to know that 2 of the bedrooms are connected… meaning that you have to walk through one bedroom to get to the other.. this was not an issue for our family. The house is large with plenty of gathering space. The front porch right on the beach with a beautiful ocean view is dreamy. Access to the private dock for fishing or being picked up for diving, snorkeling or other excursions is super convenient. This property is about 20 -30 minutes north of the town. So if you’re looking for a more quiet , peaceful area this is for you. If you are looking for a place with more action , you will need to be further south, closer to the town. The hosts/ management is super responsive and helpful with anything you might need. No regrets here

Manuel was responsive to questions before our arrival and continued to be helpful with local recommendations for food and excursions. He helped us with arrival and departure details. The place was as advertised and more. Beautiful spot

Our stay couldn't have been any better. The house was just wonderful - super clean and everything you would need. The communication before and during our stay was easy and seamless, as was our check in. Booking excursions was super easy, and we were picked up on the dock right in front of the house, which was very convenient. The only thing to note was the the location was a little bit of a drive into the main part of town, maybe 20/25 minutes, so keep that in mind. However, you get plenty of peace and tranquility, and beautiful views instead.

This place was as advertised!! Absolutely top notch! Aiesha and Ernesto were so helpful setting everything up. From transfers to tours they were so helpful!! Highly recommend

What a beach house!! We loved everything about the house. It was perfect for our group of 6 women. We very much enjoyed sitting on the front porch and looking out at the view. The view was only outdone by the awesome management team. They will help you with anything you need and are very attentive to any issues. They even helped us with our luggage up the stairs and arranged transport to and from Belize city. The one downside to the house was that the beach was not swimmable because of the sea grass. This is obviously not anyone’s fault but if you want to swim just outside the house you can’t. I was told by several locals that the sea grass was just very bad for the past month and it is not always the case. It may have something to do with the time of year, not certain. Despite that we still enjoyed our view. And for relaxing in the Caribbean Sea we just hopped in our golf cart and drove 10 minutes to Secret Beach for the day. We would love to return to Casa de Bonita one day maybe for Lobster Fest next year.
