Designed by Salagnac Architects and built by the owner using local hardwoods, Casa Amanda is a private three-bedroom villa in Las Huacas, Nosara’s most peaceful neighborhood.
Floor-to-ceiling glass opens the home to the pool, while double-height ceilings and timber pergolas encourage natural airflow. The villa is designed for comfortable indoor-outdoor living with the doors open.
Howler monkeys may wake you in the morning, and toucans provide company at breakfast. The pool looks out onto trees, with no buildings in view.
Guiones, yoga studios, and surfing are six minutes away.
The Space
The villa includes:

Guest Access
Guests have full and exclusive access to the entire villa and private pool. The property is completely private, with no shared spaces.

Las Huacas is elevated above Nosara and offers a quiet, residential, and secure setting with 24-hour neighborhood watch. Long-term residents and families choose the area because it feels separate from the tourist zones.
Protected rainforest borders the property, providing a natural backdrop of howler monkeys, toucans, and parrots.

Loved my long term stay here! I was here for a total of 2 months, the place has everything you need for a long term stay including laundry. It is in a more secluded neighborhood in Nosara so you will need a car to get into town, but there are hotels close by with great restaurants. If you are looking for a peaceful + high end stay this is a great pick!

Better than the photos! Stunning property and beautiful surroundings, very private and peaceful. The house is very well equipped, and very spacious and comfortable for a family with 2 young adult children. A highlight of our stay was the howler monkeys that visited the trees above the pool each day. We're already looking forward to coming back!

Highly recommended! Spectacular house with great architecture, superbly equipped, private pool with a shallow area, which was very convenient with small children. We could watch the monkeys in the trees from the terrace, which was a great experience! And Nosara is really very nice! So happy to come back! 😊

Amazing home in ideal location - close enough to all the action in Nosara, but just far enough away to avoid traffic noise and congestion. Can’t say enough about this gorgeous space!! Amazing to be able to wake up to local howlers, birds, and beautiful sunrises as you dip in your own private pool. Thanks Roch and Claudia!!!

Roch was great to work with while I tried to figure out the logistics of getting to Nosara. The house was great and clean, with a local contact available to help with anything or answer questions. Great checkin/house book, answering all questions. The kitchen was well outfitted with a solidy large fridge. Overall, the house was excellent, modern and exactly as advertised.

Bigger than the photos made it look! Very beautiful space. Finding it was a little tricky but once we figured it out, was alright! Not far from Playa Pelada. Don’t follow google maps to Playa Guiones, it takes you down bumpy neighborhood roads with no beach access! (You have to click the other one further south)

Amazing place with plenty of space. The big couch overlooking the dipping pool and juggle views was the perfect spot for a nap! And with all that there was to do in the area - from great surfing, shops, and food, a nap was definitely needed from time to time. The area is accessible by car, but 4-wheelers or similar are way more fun and practical for getting around.
