Patrick’s home was a beautiful oasis in the heart of the jungle! My friends and I genuinely enjoyed our stay, from the stunning infinity pool overlooking the lush tropical landscape to the spacious bedrooms and common areas. We also appreciated the daily cleaning service provided by the kind staff. I would definitely recommend this home for a relaxing Costa Rica getaway! One suggestion would be to add weather stripping and fine mesh screens over the AC vents to help keep small bugs from entering. Overall, we had a wonderful stay! Thank you, Patrick, for sharing such a beautiful property with us.

The house itself is beautiful — thoughtfully designed, spacious, and with views that make you stop what you are doing. We were five adults and never once felt crowded. But what made the stay was Adriana and Katherine. They were attentive from the first message to the last, arranged everything we asked for, and answered within minutes every time. When we needed the car delivered to the house, they sorted it. When we needed breakfast moved earlier, they sorted that too. The cook was wonderful — the meals she prepared for us were some of the best food we had in Costa Rica, and she accommodated a coeliac in the group without any fuss. The location is ideal for Dominical, Uvita and Manuel Antonio — close enough to reach everything, far enough to be completely quiet. We would come back without hesitation, and we recommend it wholeheartedly.

Villa Kañik was truly one of my favorite travel experiences yet. From the breathtaking views and peaceful atmosphere to being able to watch monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife right from the pool, everything about this stay was unforgettable. Adriana, Patrick, and their entire team were incredible hosts and went above and beyond to make our stay feel special, comfortable, and personalized. Jussy, their amazing cook/chef, was absolutely wonderful and prepared us delicious Costa Rican breakfasts and an incredible shrimp fettuccine dinner. We also enjoyed massages, facials, scrubs, champagne and wine from the wine cellar, and so many little moments that made this birthday trip truly memorable. I already miss Villa Kañik and honestly wish we had stayed longer. One week was nowhere near enough time to fully enjoy this beautiful property or experience everything Costa Rica has to offer. We stayed at Villa Kanik for our 40th anniversary and it was delightful! We own an Airbnb and know how much work goes into making your guest's experience a memorable one, and they went over and beyond. Adriana and Katherine were in constant contact with us suggesting changes to our schedules, checking on us to and from outings, checking to see if we needed anything and generally letting us know that they were there for us with anything that we might want or need. Jussy cooked for us daily, cleaned and even did our laundry and she is a sweetheart! Her cooking was delicious and her demeanor was even better. We also loved Gabby who cooked for us a few times as well. Her meals were wonderful and she was a terrific! The house layout, the pool, the view, the privacy... I cannot say enough about how perfect it was. Read the guide and take their advice on activities, local restaurants and don't pass on an in-home massage! Thank you Villa Kanik!

Thank you Adriana, Katherine, and Jussy for an incredible experience! We had a group of 8 stay at this Airbnb for four days, and we enjoyed every moment of this vacation. The Villa Kanik team provided everything from clear communication, booking private tours, onsite cleaning, and delightful customer service. We booked three private appointments (whale watching, massages at the Airbnb, and private chef dinner), and the Villa Kanik team made sure everything was smooth and seamless. Our group left feeling refreshed and joyful! I highly recommend this Airbnb if you're looking for a private resort experience with a stress-free, relaxing environment. We hope to come back with more friends soon!

Villa Kanik was heaven on Earth! The house and surroundings could not have been more beautiful. There were lots of great restaurants and a grocery store (with everything we needed) a surprisingly short drive from the villa. The host was proactive with communication and super-responsive. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed and the cleaning service was fantastic. We could not have asked for more...we only wish we had stayed longer and we hope to return again, and again!

The stay at Villa Kanik was beyond exceptional! The hosts were so great and made our stay perfect. Great activities including ATV tours in the jungle, white water rafting, surfing, zip lining and off-shore fishing all nearby. We can’t wait to go back and would give it 10 stars if we could! The housekeeper, Jussy, was so kind and did a wonderful job and also cooked wonderful breakfast for us each day!

This place is incredible- it feels like something out of a movie. Absolutely beautiful surroundings. We saw monkeys and toucans from the yard. And Adriana had the best recommendations for activities and tour operators. Absolutely fantastic - can’t wait to come back!

We had an incredible stay at Patrick and Adriana's home. The house design, location, furnishings, view, and privacy were exactly what we had hoped for and more. Owners were readily available to assist with any issues at the home (grill issue which was resolved almost immediately) and provided connections for surf lessons, deep sea fishing, and transportation. Our family of 5 had a blast in Dominical, and this home was a wonderful place to wind down after adventuring each day. Daily housekeeping was a huge bonus as well!

This place is magical. Modern home surrounded by 360 degrees of jungle. Absolutely stunning. We loved lounging by the pool and took advantage of a couple private chef meals. We saw monkeys, toucans and other wildlife. The drive up the mountain is steep and is totally doable/worth it! - we had 4x4 and had no issues! It’s about a 5 min drive up from the base. Inside the beds and couches are so comfortable with great quality linens. We had plenty of space for our group of 7. Jussy the housekeeper is a hero - cleaning and doing laundry daily was such a treat. We felt secure and safe in the area and in the home. There is a gate to enter, locks and cameras - we felt very safe :)
