Casa Del Lago, Luxurious Beautiful Lakefront Home!
This newly built, luxurious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home combines style and comfort throughout. Situated on waterfront land, it offers breathtaking views of Concepcion and Maderas volcanoes. Nestled within Maderas National Park, the lush surroundings enhance the natural beauty of the location.
The house features modern conveniences such as free high-speed internet (service cannot be guaranteed uninterrupted), television, hot water, air conditioning, and ceiling fans.
Casa Del Lago is located on an unspoiled natural coastline characterized by rocky shores where diverse flora and fauna thrive. It is an ideal retreat to relax and unwind after exploring the many attractions of Isla de Ometepe.
Bird enthusiasts will appreciate the variety of species visiting the majestic Ceiba trees on the property. Notably, the endangered Yellow-Naped Parrot, one of the largest remaining populations, frequents these trees almost daily in the early afternoons. Howler monkeys also visit the high canopy during mornings and evenings, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife photography.
The open-concept design includes 10-foot (3-meter) high ceilings and numerous windows, allowing natural light and ventilation. A spacious sunroom offers stunning views of Lake Cocibolca and Concepcion Volcano, with Maderas Volcano visible from the front of the house.
The front porch is supported by two Madero Negro tree posts and includes a cozy hammock spot.
All water in the house is UV filtered. The home uses solar-heated water, bio-digesters, and gray water recycling. Solar power has recently been added, with surge protectors installed on all outlets. LED lighting is used throughout the property.
For added security, all windows have bars. Free parking is available on-site. Pets are not allowed.
Isla de Ometepe is a tropical island designated as a UNESCO biosphere reserve, home to a rich diversity of plant and animal species. The house is fully screened to minimize insects indoors, though some harmless insects may occasionally enter. The only venomous snake on the island is the coral snake, which is rarely seen due to its reclusive nature.
