The Space

Hermosa Resort is a luxurious retreat nestled in the jungle above the renowned Playa Hermosa. It is easily reachable from the Pacific Coast Highway with a short three to four-minute drive on the smoothly paved Calle San Josecito.

This villa offers unparalleled panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, spectacular sunsets, and the iconic Whale’s Tail formation in the water, providing some of the most breathtaking scenery in Southern Costa Rica.

The villa features:

• A spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom
• Two guest bedrooms, each with a queen-size bed and ensuite bathroom
• An additional guest bedroom with two oversized bunk beds (four beds total) and a large bathroom
• A total of 4.5 bathrooms

The indoor living area is expansive and comfortable, designed to embrace Costa Rica’s indoor/outdoor lifestyle. It opens onto a large outdoor terrace furnished with sofas, chairs, a dining table, hammocks, and lounge chairs—perfect for relaxation in this tropical paradise.

The peaceful and visually stunning surroundings are ideal for yoga, meditation, and immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the jungle and ocean.

Enhance your stay by taking a refreshing dip in the large infinity pool, which appears to float above the villa’s incredible views.

For larger groups, both this villa and Villa #4 next door can be rented together, accommodating up to 21 guests in total.

Location and Surroundings

Situated directly across from a protected jungle preserve that will never be developed, the villa’s backyard features a variety of tropical trees attracting beautiful birds visible from the patio and pool area. Banana and lime trees, along with a lush garden, draw hummingbirds, toucans, parrots, and many other vibrant local species. Monkeys are occasionally spotted as well.

Perched at 970 feet above sea level, the villa enjoys an unobstructed view of the Pacific Ocean. Guests can watch sailboats drift by, observe the tide revealing the Whale’s Tail formation, and enjoy magnificent, colorful sunsets every evening.

The villa is conveniently located:

• 10 minutes south of the popular beach and surfing town of Dominical
• 5 minutes north of Uvita, which offers banking, dining options ranging from casual to fine, shopping, pharmacies, car rentals, supermarkets, and various activities
• 30 minutes south of Quepos Airport
• 40 minutes from Manuel Antonio Beach and National Park

Nearby attractions include numerous beautiful beaches, surfing spots, rivers, stunning waterfalls, pristine tropical rainforest, horseback riding, sailing and power boating, shopping, and dining—all within a short drive.

The closest beach, Playa Hermosa, is just a 4-minute drive from the villa.

Amenities and Services

All Hermosa Resort villas include concierge services to assist with travel and car rental arrangements, activity information and bookings, and special requests such as in-villa private chef dinners and massages.

Upon arrival, your personal property manager will welcome you at the villa, provide the keys, and give a detailed orientation of the property and its features. Any immediate needs will be addressed at that time.

The property manager will also visit at a convenient time after your first night to ensure everything meets your expectations.

At departure, the manager will assist with check-out, collect the keys, and ensure your smooth transition to your next destination.
