The Space

Villa Margarita is a private villa that accommodates up to 8 guests. It includes a spacious three-bedroom main house and a fully independent studio. Located one block from the beach in La Punta, the property features a private pool, tropical garden, high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi, and convenient access to restaurants, cafés, and local shops.

Main House

Upon arrival, guests will find private parking for two vehicles and the entrance to the main house.

Guest Access

Guests have private use of the house and the areas designated for their stay.

Some locked storage areas are reserved exclusively for staff and are not accessible to guests.

Authorized personnel may access outdoor areas during the stay for scheduled pool and garden maintenance, plant care, and municipal trash collection. These visits are part of the property’s regular maintenance and do not include access to the interior guest areas.

Other Things to Note

Puerto Escondido is an authentic beach town that is still developing. Guests may experience elements of local life, including roosters, dogs, occasional construction, and unpaved streets. Many streets throughout Puerto Escondido are unpaved, which is a common characteristic of the area.

Tropical Environment

Puerto Escondido has a tropical climate and can be hot and humid throughout the year. Guests who are not accustomed to tropical weather should consider this when planning their stay.

Mosquitoes, insects, and other small tropical wildlife may naturally be present despite regular cleaning and preventive pest-control measures. Guests should take appropriate personal precautions, particularly if they are sensitive to insect bites or stings. Naturally occurring insects and related bites or stings are part of the local tropical environment and are outside the host’s control.

Maintenance

Scheduled maintenance and operational services take place throughout the week to keep the property in excellent condition. These services may include pool cleaning, garden care, and washing and preparing linens from previous stays and for upcoming guests.

Authorized team members may access designated outdoor and service areas as needed. These services may occur during a guest’s stay and do not involve access to the private interior areas designated for guests.

Each authorized staff member has a unique access code, and entry is recorded through the smart-lock system to maintain a record of property access.

Utilities

Occasional power outages may occur in the area, particularly during periods of high demand. Water is a valuable resource in Puerto Escondido, so guests are kindly asked to use it responsibly.

Laundry

There is no on-site laundry service for guests, but we are happy to recommend a reliable local service with pickup and delivery.

Housekeeping

Additional cleaning during your stay can be arranged upon request for an extra fee.

Exterior security cameras are located in outdoor areas of the property only.
