The villa is just a five-minute drive from Dominical’s lively tourist area, where you will find restaurants, grocery stores, and everyday essentials. It also provides convenient access to beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and jungle adventures while maintaining a peaceful, secluded setting.
The Space
Surrounded by jungle, Casa Solaz combines tropical tranquility with expansive ocean views. The villa is only minutes from a series of gorgeous beaches, magnificent waterfalls, and outdoor adventures.
During your stay, you can:

Construction Notice
Construction has recently begun on the neighboring lot and is expected to be completed by July 2027. Work is limited to daytime hours and is progressing steadily. To provide full transparency and set appropriate expectations, discounted rates are available during this period.

Ground Transportation Options
- Private airport shuttle: Travel directly from SJO Airport to the villa. Prices typically range from $350 to $450 each way, depending on the season and group size. The journey takes approximately 3.5 hours.
- Car rental: We can arrange a premium four-wheel-drive sport utility vehicle so you can travel from SJO Airport to the villa at your own pace.
- Private shuttle and car rental: Arrive at the villa by private shuttle from SJO Airport, where one or two rental cars will be waiting for you. This option eliminates the need to visit a rental agency.
Air Transportation Options
- Scenic flight and private transfer: Take a picturesque 45-minute flight from SJO Airport to Quepos with Sansa Airlines or Green Airways. Daily departures are typically scheduled between 7:50 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. From Quepos, continue with either a private shuttle or a pre-arranged automatic four-wheel-drive rental for the 45-minute drive to the villa.
- Private aircraft: For a more exclusive option, book a private aircraft for up to 10 passengers from SJO Airport to Quepos. A shuttle will meet you upon arrival and take you on a scenic drive directly to the villa, allowing your group to travel comfortably together from home to the property.

Beautiful home that is meticulous maintained. Love the location as it had great access to local restaurants less than 10 minutes away and beautiful beaches within 30 minutes.

The house is amazing—deep in the jungle, with spectacular ocean views. The pool is also very nice, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The host was responsive, and almost everything was perfect. The only downside worth mentioning is that there were gaps in several windows, particularly in the bathrooms, as well as the main door. We only noticed this after seeing bugs getting into the house, and we had to tuck towels into the gaps to help address the problem. We were also very careful not to leave any doors open at any time. That said, this felt like a flaw that could and should have been prevented, and it did make some of us uncomfortable during the stay. I want to reiterate that everything else about the house was excellent.

This house is beautifully located in Dominicalito. It has an excellent view of the ocean and canopy. We saw monkeys, toucans, iguanas from the back yard. The pool was a big hit for everyone and so refreshing after a day of exploring. We felt very safe in this gated community. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The washer and dryer was also a wonderful amenity. The owners were quick to respond to our messages. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay! The location was perfect, the view is incredible and we loved having most of the living space on one floor. Every morning the toucans were out eating in the trees and we could hear monkeys in the distance. The neighbourhood is gated and the gate attendants are lovely and there 24/7. The beach and restaurants are a close drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful spot that we would stay at again without hesitation! This didn’t bother us, but be aware that 3 of the 4 bathrooms have windows that aren’t completely sealed so bugs will get in.

This was a last minute travel decision with 4 couples of friends. What a fun and fantastic trip we had!! We wanted to stay in the midst of mountain with good ocean view! The place was absolutely beautiful and exactly as we expected! We had visits from various exotic birds every morning. We saw monkeys and other animals on our back yard throughout our stay! We loved the yoga shed! We spent many hours in the infinity pool and caught the incredible sunsets on the ocean!! The personal chef was unbelievable and the food was just so good! Shannon and the concierge team was wonderful. They were prompt and responsive! There were a couple of things that could improve the guest experience better, such as fixing the freezer section of the refrigerator, Grills, and several rolling sun shades were not working. We submitted the feedback so, hopefully they are all addressed now! It was just a wonderful and memorable trip for our friends!!

Shanon’s place in Dominical is an absolute stunner. It’s a great place for a family to unwind and take in the breathtaking views. The house functions very well and is central to many great decisions within 20 min from the house. I highly recommend booking this property if your Costa Rican traveling takes you to the Pacific Coast.
