We loved Sisal, it was low key, authentic and friendly. The beach is beautiful and there is plenty to do for a few days. The house was comfortable and convenient with everything we needed. The only small downside was that we had no mobile signal so no way of communicating from about 45 mins outside the town so it was a little complicated to arrange check in. It would be worth organising well in advance with Elena, who is flexible and accommodating. The wifi inside the house is fine and good.

By far one of the best Airbnb our family has stayed at! Just gorgeous…the architecture, the aesthetic, the energy of this place is beautiful. We were greeted by Mari and her husband to show us around the home upon arrival and they were so friendly and welcoming. The rooftop pool area was like your own private resort, lounge chairs, seating areas, pool with jets. The downstairs pool you literally walk right into from the bedroom which was so incredible. The bikes were nice to take a stroll around the area. It’s at the end of town so you feel like part of the community rather than a tourist. Stock up on your groceries in a larger town since options in Sisal are limited. No banks or atms either. Such a great place, would love to return and stay longer…simply a relaxing quiet vibe the whole time. At nights there is a kids mini carnival at main plaza in town. Rent a palapa on the beach, good safe waters for kids to swim. Casa Kensho was created with so much intention, a perfect stay!

Very, very nice house!!!! Elena, Mary, and Bernado are super friendly! The pool and rooftop are beautiful! You can see the flamingos every afternoon!Always before the sun goes down, and the sunsets are beautiful! Those are two things that are priceless… The house is flawless and safe! Thank you all for your hospitality!
