We had a wonderful stay in Bacalar! The place was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Everything was well taken care of, and the location made it easy to enjoy everything Bacalar has to offer. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

The house, location, views, Sergio and Humberto being so attentive made our vacation even more amazing! We walked over to Cenote azul (feet away) and locals showed us where to access it and jump in. One bet that one of us would fall and surely we did 😂😁! We took a taxi over to three recommended restaurants (La Playita, Nixtamal, and BEST tacos at Taquerias Alambres 13). Pictures don’t do the water justice! Waking up to your that view is almost magical ♥️

Everything was 10! Beautiful place and beautiful accommodation to enjoy your stay. The house is very spacious, comfortable and has everything you need. Thanks to the host who was always attentive. I highly recommend him! He made our family trip a great experience!

What an incredible location, truly. Pristine views and swimming steps from a large covered porch perfect for meals and puzzles/games. The house was spacious and clean and beds so comfortable❤️be sure to sleep with the windows open; listen to the water lapping as you fade into sleep, and wake to lively birds and roosters in the far distance, you will not want to waste one minute of the relaxing days in Bacalar starting with the sunrise (sit on the lounge chairs w coffee 30min before sunrise for the show of a lifetime). Highly recommend renting a car and/or bikes. The street food on route 307 is delicious and parque principal de Bacalar a fun place to roam around (lots of vendors/restaurants/cafes/bars). We really enjoyed "Los Rápidos" (go during the week in the afternoon to avoid crowds) and the brand new archeological park of Ichkabal (read up on it!). Tren Maya worked perfectly for us; highly recommend. Overall a 10/10 experience and can't wait to return!!

The place is located in one of the best areas of the lagoon. It has large green areas and direct access to the lagoon. Sergio was always very attentive and kind, and our entire stay flowed very pleasantly. The family really enjoyed the stay and we would gladly return.

we absolutely adored the location its very beautiful and probably the one off the best spots on the lake. its approximately a 50 minute walk into town but there are restaurants just metres away, taxis are cheaper approximately 3 pound into town. we where in Mexico for a month and stayed in 5 different locations and this was our favourite, I don't like being negative but the accommodation is basic and the kitchen very basic, but this did not spoil our stay it felt more like a hostel. if you are aware of this its amazing.

beautiful house and location right on the lake. the house is spacious and clean. we took a boat tour and we're picked up right at the house. super convenient. the caretaker of the property is really nice. they also have jet skis and kayaks for rent. all in all...I would definitely return to Sergio's place again!

Sergio was always friendly and attentive. He left us some beers and ice cream. What's worth it about the house is its location next to the lagoon. We had a lack of hot water. Otherwise, everything was very good!
