Kim et tout le personnel étaient vraiment très accueillants. L’hôtel était intime. L’espace extérieur est magnifique. Les chaises à la plage sont très confortables. L’espace repas extérieur avec le BBQ c’est super. Le seul bémol c’est que le bar à côté était bruyant. L’emplacement est à 15 minutes à pied du centre de Samara. La piscine n’a pas fonctionné 2 jours sur 3. Et le lit dans le salon/cuisine c’est difficile de dormir puisque l’espace n’est pas climatisé et les fenêtres ce sont des moustiquaires donc on entend la musique du bar et le bruit des vagues. Merci beaucoup pour tout!

We really enjoyed spending a few nights at Samara Beach to celebrate New Year's on our recent trip to Costa Rica. The Fenix is a cozy hotel with 6 rooms set in a curve around a small pool and a stone's throw from water's edge. It was the perfect "tiny house" set up for our family and the beachfront had lovely hammocks and beach chairs to sit in and enjoy the views. Due to the holidays, the rooms were all full with families and a bit crowded when everyone was dining outside but all the guest were friendly and chatty. If you enjoy meeting other travelers and making friends, Fenix is a perfect property for you! The property was very safe and they provide nighttime security and a safe for your valuables. Easy to find and several good restaurants were just a few minutes walk down the beach. The property has been updated between our booking and our arrival and the owners are still making improvements. A perfect beachfront getaway in Costa Rica!
