Chris, Megan, and the whole staff at Selvista were incredible! They were extremely helpful in planning activities and arranging transportation. Selvista was a little oasis and homestead was a very unique experience. Delicious breakfast !!

The Homestead House is very nice, but it has all-round windows through which other guests can see well when passing by. We weren't too bad, but it may be good for others to know. The windows could be closed with flaps (shutters), but then it is a bit too accommodating to my liking. The entrance door is a gate, which can only be made "opaque" with curtains. You can hear monkeys roaring or birds chirping as if you are right in the jungle. The fruits on the farm may be picked and eaten at any time. The breakfast selection is ok. The prices for tours, transports, etc. are comparatively slightly increased, but everything is organized super fast and flexible. The motorbike was brought to our accommodation and we were able to give it back to an employee right away. The staff was always helpful and friendly. A very cool experience from my point of view!

I don’t think I’ve ever felt this home away from home. The cabin is very comfortable yet rustic and close to nature. We woke up super zen, with the sounds of howler monkeys on the background and the view over the volcano, really doesn’t get any better! Our only regret is not staying longer. The breakfast in the morning is fresh and delicious and the hosts are friendly and respond quickly.

My stay at the Homestead house was incredible. It was a unique and beautiful design with a very comfortable bed and awesome hammock with a view of the volcano. The Selvista hospitality was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

Great spot for a jungle experience. There's always free fresh fruit all day and coffee! Large room in the open air, should not be afraid of insects:) Very cool friendly and helpful owner

Selvista House is such a unique place to stay. I recommend renting a scooter once you are there to get to other areas and beaches around the island. Megan was super responsive and helpful in arranging transportation and giving recommendations.

We loved our stay in the homestead room. From a few days before our stay and throughout the duration the staff was wonderful- helping us coordinate local guides, drivers, recommending restaurants ect. The jungle setting was very cool (maybe not for everyone with the open concept- but it was just as we expected and we loved it). Looking around the farm was cool and of course location location location! Ometepe has so much to offer, abs we can’t wait to return!!

Loved staying at Selvista! Let me start out by saying that we travelled to the Island in a Polaris and we are so glad we did! You need a 4x4, off road vehicle or dirt bike to get around the island. The location was perfect for what we wanted to do, which was hiking the volcano and to the waterfall. We stayed in the homestead home. It’s open air but was totally comfortable sleeping at night. The bed has a mosquito net and we didn’t have issues with bugs on our bed but if you are afraid of insects, this is not the place for you! We did have 2 large spiders (not saying what kind) in our room, which made our stay at lot more exciting! We spotted lots of wild animals on the property, howling monkeys, capivaras and numerous of beautiful birds. It’s dog friendly too, which in my opinion is always a plus! The breakfast was delicious every single time and we really enjoyed picking fruits from the trees. The restaurants nearby that selvista recommended had amazing farm to table delicious food. I just may be back one day! Thanks for the wonderful time.

Cute little place in a gorgeous area! the road was hard to get down and the signs were slightly misleading, but the Dome House was beautiful and the kitchen was well stocked. wish we could have stayed longer!

I really enjoyed my stay. It was very recharging to stay in this permaculture farm.
