The private saltwater dipping pool measures approximately 3 × 2 meters (10 × 6.5 feet). It is intended for cooling off and relaxing rather than swimming. Guests who prefer a larger swimming area can use the shared semi-Olympic pool located directly in front of the house.
Access to the bedrooms is via exterior stairs. We recommend reviewing the listing photos, particularly the exterior images, to understand the pool size, layout, and bedroom access before booking.

Pinilla Highlands is a peaceful destination surrounded by nature and designed for relaxation. It is ideal for guests seeking an escape from the hustle and bustle. Groups looking for a party atmosphere or nightlife within walking distance may prefer downtown Tamarindo.
Access and Roads
To preserve the area’s authenticity and tranquility, the roads leading to the residential community are gravel roads, which are typical of Guanacaste.
All vehicles can access the area, but we recommend driving slowly, especially in low-clearance vehicles. A higher vehicle, such as an SUV or four-wheel-drive vehicle, provides greater comfort when exploring the region.
Night Arrivals
If you plan to arrive at night, please note that a short section before the entrance has limited lighting. Our team is available until 8:00 p.m. to personally guide you to the property if needed.
Tropical Climate
Because the property is immersed in nature, local wildlife is commonly seen. The home includes amenities for your comfort, but please remember that you are visiting a tropical environment.

We loved Alejandro’s place. It had lots of amenities. Pools were great. Communication was quite smooth and the place was way too spacious for our party. Lots of beautiful beaches nearby.

A fantastic property! Very friendly and helpful staff. Hazel is great, we got a flat tire in our rental car and it had no tools to use to change the tire, but Hazel was able to to ask Jose another staff member to help me and he was very professional and helpful and got me back on the road so I could pick my family up from Tamarindo and also make it the the airport for our departure. I highly recommend this Airbnb for your stay when in this area of Costa Rica.
