Elegant 2BR Beachfront Retreat | Villa Sapphire

Villa Sapphire at La Perle was absolutely stunning! I could have stayed forever. Every room has views of the ocean, the place was clean, kitchen supplies were high quality and the staff were helpful and friendly. We would 100% stay again.

We loved our stay! It was even better than the photos! Everyone we encountered at the resort was so incredibly helpful. We were a group of 5 friends traveling as a 40th group birthday trip and the setup was perfect. We did two snorkeling excursions with Roberto right at the resort and they were fantastic. Star and Cindy helped us book transportation, golf cart rental and massages right at our villa. The location is absolutely stunning. It takes about 25 minutes by golf cart to get to San Pedro. Lovely quiet area with some restaurants nearby. Bol the night security guard was also so sweet and helpful when checking us in. Would highly recommend this villa and resort!

La Perla was a great stay. La Perla is located about 30 minutes north of San Pedro airport by golf cart. The Sapphire was very clean, had GREAT a/c, and very good wi-fi. The pool is huge and the water was warm. The description of the property aligns to the Airbnb listing. The only thing I would point out is the private beach is more of a dock (not private because I believe all docks are public). You can swim there but it’s covered with sea grass and seaweed (seasonal). However, it’s a wonderful ocean view with a perfect view of the morning sunrise. And Secret Beach is only 20 minutes away. A golf cart is required as there are less markets/stores that far north and nothing is walkable. La Perla is quiet and the Sapphire is very spacious. Bring bug spray LOL!

We can’t say enough great things about this villa in La Perla! All of the staff were beyond helpful! They arranged for us a taxi and set up a golf cart rental. We definitely recommend allowing them to set it up. We also used the onsite team to book a couple snorkeling tours. It was sargassum season but even though it was a little rough because of that everything about this place and the staff outweighed that negative part about our trip. Star, Mr. Chocolate, Roberto, and all the other staff, thank you so much for making our stay in San Pedro amazing!!!

very nice place and beautiful

Beautiful villa and surrounding area. The villa itself was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed to prepare some simple meals. Cindy and Star and everyone we interacted with were wonderful. My favorite aspect of Belize is the genuine, welcoming, care, and kindness. Some things to know about the island itself and the area. There are not white, sandy beaches leading into the ocean like there are say in Mexico. Most swimming takes place while on snorkeling adventures. The restaurants nearby are good, but pricey. Some of the restaurants in town are more feasible , but it is a 30 minute bumpy golf cart ride in each direction. We did end up with two separate food poisoning cases in our group, from two different restaurants in town. My advice would be if it doesn’t taste fresh, don’t eat it. Our favorite place to eat was the farmstand. Great smoothies, sandwiches, coffee. Their local yogurt and salsa were top notch. Snorkeling is a must. Do a private with chocolate or Roberto!

Book it Sis! The air bnb is fully equipped with plenty of kitchen tools and bathroom amenities. Everything is thought of for you. It felt like we were home but in an oasis. There's never a wonder if they have this or that. THEY HAVE IT. Everyone was helpful. Andrew, Bol, Edwin, and Star. I loved it.

We stayed here for a friend’s birthday and it was our first time in Belize. This was a BEAUTIFUL villa with an amazing view! The team was very helpful Andrew and Bol were such gems they really made our stay wonderful. I would absolutely recommend anyone to stay here!

Beautiful location and Villa Sapphire was updated and had a great location. Local management team was responsive and helpful. We also liked how close it was the Secret Beach. All in all, great experience and we will definitely be back.

The home provided a serene place to relax and cook good food with our friends. We sat on front deck with ocean and palm trees steps away. Our host Michaela was phenomenal and ensured that all of our needs were met.
