Danny was an excellent host who showed up to welcome us with snacks and home grown avocados! This house is a great location with a private pool, river and nature trails all which we loved. The showers upstairs are beautiful with huge windows that look out into the jungle. We even saw a sloth on the property. The restaurant Ross is within walking distance of the house and excellent and there is everything you need right in the center of town.

We absolutely loved our stay at this location. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed to cook every night. We enjoyed the trails and location on the river. We would definitely stay here again!

Our family had a very nice stay. We found the house to be very comfortable for the 5 of us who were traveling. The rooms were comfortable, with air conditioning and a full bathroom in each. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with all the utensils we needed and more, and the pool was a great plus. In addition, the proactive communication and the little touches upon arrival made us feel great. THANK YOU!!

The river house is a fantastic retreat that gives you an immersive jungle experience combined with very clean and comfortable modern accommodations. Lots of space for our family of 5, and our kids loved swimming in the pool. Very responsive to any questions we had and helped us to really make the most of our time in La Fortuna!

Easy check-in process. Responsive host. Excellent concierge service. Home matched the pictures and descriptions perfectly. Wonderful for families. The private chef dinner was one of the best meals of the trip!!

This house is phenomenal! Plenty of space for our two families, which consisted of 4 adults and two children. The house is extremely comfortable and the grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed the pool and just listening to the sounds of nature around us. It was easy to get an Uber into La Fortuna. Danny is a thoughtful and responsive host; he helped us plan our transportation and activities for our visit. We loved our stay and would highly recommend this house. It’s exactly as pictured and described. We’d love to come back!
