My name is Patricia. This apartment is our family home when we are in San Jose. To introduce myself, I grew up in Costa Rica, studied in Costa Rica, United States and Scotland, lived for 20 years in Canada and 10 years ago, returned to Costa Rica with husband and 2 kids in tow. In the years gone by, we built a house in the southern region of the country and now our wonderful 2 daughters attending University. While we were living in Canada, I had the opportunity to work with some of the best Optometrists and Opthalmologist in the Country and with help of their network in Canada and the local help of the Lions Club, Costa Rica, I organized the sending of 4-6 doctors once/twice a year for 10 years or more to Costa Rica to conduct Eye Exam Clinics for underprivileged Kids in remote villages. Eye Glasses and if needed, Eye Surgery were provided by Costa Rican Doctors. All in all, I am very proud of this volunteer effort from everyone involved and for me it was giving something back to my country. Whenever we had a chance to travel, we met some wonderful people who opened their home to us and made us feel welcome. That international experience is somewhat reflected in the apartment. Every item in this apartment has been selected with Love and Thoughtfulness to present an experience of modern casual elegance with a charming vibe. In case you are up for restaurants, the Villages of Escalante and Dent are famous in Costa Rica for access to over 200 restaurants, many of them within walking distance of our apartment.
