Overview
El Campanario is a beautiful estate located one hour and fifteen minutes from Medellín. It is an ideal place to take a break from the city and reconnect with nature.
If you enjoy the countryside, lush greenery, and animals, this is the perfect setting for you. Dogs, rabbits, cats, and even sheep will welcome you with open paws. You can also unwind while enjoying the scenery, warm climate, and swimming pool.
The Space
The house is an older property decorated in a traditional Antioquian style, with antique collector’s items throughout. Its design follows the architecture of a colonial home, including a central patio and open-air showers.
Because of this layout, small animals such as insects may occasionally enter the house, although this is not a serious issue.
The property also includes modern conveniences:
- Television with DirecTV, which can be activated for a low additional fee
- Hot water in one bathroom
- Refrigerator
- Washing machine
- Fans
Please note that there is no Wi-Fi network. However, the mobile phone network works very well.
Guest Access
Guests have access to all areas inside the country house, except for the front house, where the property caretakers live. This is their private home, and their privacy must be respected.
You are otherwise welcome to make yourself at home. You may also visit other common areas of the surrounding property if you would like to explore more of the estate.
Animals
Animals are part of the family here, so please treat them with respect. Several dogs and cats live on the property and are considered family members. If you have any concerns about this, please let us know.
They are very affectionate and have plenty of love to give.
- Pets are not allowed on the property.
Transportation
Arrival by bus or minibus is not permitted under the development’s policies. If you arrive by bus, you must leave it at the gate and walk to the property.

It met my expectations. An excellent place to relax and spend time with family. The decor is like an open gallery that keeps Antioquia's culture alive. The accommodation is an immersive experience that transports you through time. The common areas are spacious and comfortable. The butlers are very friendly and willing to make your stay more comfortable, as is the host, who was always very attentive and available.

Isabella and Sofía's estate is amazing. It's very nice in every way. The kitchen is comfortable for cooking, the pool is lovely, surrounded by nature, very close to Parque de Venecia. Sofia was very attentive. I recommend them 100%.

El Campanario, perfect for rest and getting together with friends and family, surrounded by well-kept natural spaces. A well-maintained, cared-for and clean country house, with spaces conducive to making memories. Add to that the fact that you are safe there, away from the noise of the city and in an atmosphere of rest and peace. The mango trees were lovely. They awakened our senses of taste and the desire to pick a couple to enjoy the pleasure of freshly picked fruit from the tree. The butlers were friendly and respectful, 10 out of 10. Thank you!!

It's a beautiful estate with an exceptional view! The sunset is beautiful, picture-perfect. The property has all the amenities, with very special decor that makes you enjoy every detail, as if it were a museum. The host is super attentive and ready to help with whatever you need. The pool is lovely, clean, and perfect for the weather. The green areas are beautiful and very well maintained, with fruit trees and lots of birds. A place to go back to.

The hosts' service is very personalized; they always respond quickly and clearly. The spaces on the property are very nice, just as shown in the photos; the place is clean, organized, and very quiet. The hosts are very helpful and available people.

A lovely place that evokes the past, the history that defines us as Antioquians. A beautiful space with so many special features: a chapel, a swimming pool, thousands of historical objects, and a beautiful view of the mountains. A great place, no doubt.

It was a super nice family stay, the place is just as seen in the photos, a very beautiful place, it has a spectacular view. And, Don Eduardo and Mrs. Maru were super friendly and helpful with us in everything we needed, (total gratitude to them). a highly recommended place to share with family or friends.
