Casa Miramares is a spacious 4BR, 4.5-bath beachfront home at the quiet northern end of Playas del Coco.
Designed for breezy coastal living, the open layout features airy spaces, ocean views, and the soothing sound of waves throughout. Surrounded by lush greenery, the home opens to a large beachfront yard—perfect for kids, lounging, and sunset gatherings just steps from the sand.
The space The home features a wide veranda and open-style kitchen with ocean views, equipped with a stovetop, dishwasher, pantry, and plenty of counter space—perfect for cooking. Enjoy meals indoors or outside at the large wooden table on the terrace while taking in the beach view.
All four air-conditioned bedrooms have private bathrooms; two have queen beds and two have bunk beds, ideal for families or groups.
Guest access Guests have full access to the property, including ample parking and multiple indoor and outdoor spaces to relax.
Other things to note • Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms only. The open kitchen and living areas are cooled by ceiling fans and designed to capture natural ocean breezes.
• The home has a gated entrance from the street and opens directly onto the beach. Please note that all beaches in Costa Rica are public.
• Bedroom layout: The queen bedrooms are accessed from the covered veranda and lock individually. The bunk bedrooms are located within the main house and accessed through the kitchen. Families with young children may wish to note that the kitchen must be unlocked at night to reach the bunk bedrooms.
• Due to tight cleaning schedules between guests, we are usually unable to offer late checkout

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the oceanfront house. The location is unbeatable. The ocean there has a lot of waves, but we drove 5 minutes to the ocean in the center of El Coco, which is like a saltwater pool that we all enjoyed. It was great for my 2-year-old baby... as was Playa Panamá, about 15 minutes away by car. We enjoyed the sunset and playing in the sand. Very comfortable facilities with nice common areas. It has a good laundry area that was very useful to us. The gas grill was the great plus of the stay, since the electricity went out for more than 2 hours the 2 nights we were in the area where the house is located. Thanks to the grill, we were able to have dinner by candlelight... as a suggestion, putting emergency lamps in the house and solar lamps in the patio would be very good for these occasions. Communication with the host was always smooth and prompt. We want to come back as soon as possible!!

Great location. Tico vibe right on the beach. Plenty of beds. Outside living space with nice breeze but if you have any issues with bugs or aren’t really trying to be in nature it may not be your cup of tea BUT it’s Costa Rica so it’s all part of the experience. Awake to sound sod howler monkeys and roosters and go to sleep to sound of waves.

Amazing location, beautiful air-conditioned rooms, wonderful kitchen and great outdoor space. It was perfect for our large family vacation! Highly recommend if you wanna be on the beach!!

Talk about the value of a lifetime! This place was exactly as described and probably a bit better. If you’re a nature lover this place will fit the bill. Sunsets from the beach are a community event and this place has probably the best spot. Host was very responsive and proactive. Would stay again!

Ariannes place was great and the beach was literally the backyard! There were a few issues throughout our stay with the water and other things and she super responsive and always sent someone right over to fix it. Definitely recommend staying here!

What an amazing place! Right on the beach, steps to the waves and truly incredible sunsets. The unique open air concept added to the on the beach experience. A short walk to great restaurants and the amenities of town. Arianne was a pleasure to interact with, and had great recommendations! We were 2 families 4 adults, 4 kids. There are lots of options for sleeping arrangements and the AC in the bedrooms offered a heat break when needed. We miss the waves already!
