All bedrooms open to outside, so you must go up outside stairs to access main living area and kitchen. One bedroom has to go outside just to access a bathroom that is attached to one of the other bedrooms so even though we were traveling with all adults it made it awkward. I definitely wouldn’t want to rent with young children with bedrooms that open to outside and pool area. Great views and open living area and attentive staff were the positives.

We had a good stay at this Airbnb in Rancho Santana. Pre-booking communication was strong, and they helped coordinate a rental car and a meal plan through Claudia’s Kitchen. Our cook, Haley, was excellent, dependable, kind, and very accommodating to our family. Most meals were great and delicious, though the beef was a bit tough, and meals were always ready on time. NSR did not communicate to Claudia’s Kitchen that snacks were included in our meal plan, so we did not receive them. We had plenty of food and didn’t miss out, but communication with vendors was inconsistent. The home is about five minutes from the Rancho Santana Inn, clean, and comfortable. Housekeeping came every other day and even did laundry, which was appreciated. There were gate access issues for our chef and rental car due to incorrect info provided to security, causing delays. Layout is a bit unusual with bedrooms downstairs and living spaces upstairs. Pool was well maintained but very cold. Beds were extra firm.

We really enjoyed our stay at the house! You get the best of both worlds! Close enough to enjoy the coffee and restaurants, pool, at the hotel but get to chill at your own house when you want to! The house is incredible! On a hill for Oceanside views and has its own pool! Everything needed was there. You can even get delivery from the hotel restaurant if needed. 5 stars! I do recommend renting a 4x4 truck though as the hills of Rancho Santana are very steep.

Great place to stay, great for couples. 1 bedroom very spacious, the other 2 bedrooms a little small. Great pool and very good service. The view was stunning.

I think even better than the house/location was the concierge, jose, and carly's help. I will say that the beds could use some kind of padding as they are VERY hard - but I know that's common in central/south america, so it is what it is. I would love to stay here again.

We loved our stay here! This is a really great location within Rancho Santana. Easy walk to the hotel/pool/restaurant, and great ocean & beach views! The only thing that "surprised" us is that the common areas are upstairs as depicted, but all bedrooms are sort of individual "motel" rooms where you access them on the ground floor from the exterior of the structure. This was NO problem for us, and perhaps I missed that in the description somewhere, but I only mention it as if I had little kids still, I might pause thinking that their bedroom doors opened onto the ground floor exterior, just a few steps from the pool. Again, no problem for us, but if you have little kids who are not yet fully water-safe, I'd assess that detail accordingly. All in all, cannot recommend this place enough, we loved being here! We did a ton of off-roading through the property, and enjoyed all the amenities Rancho Santana has to offer.
