The pool is a must have and was often in use. Thankfully the kitchen is well equipped as restaurants are a bit spendy. Short walks to beach, town, and restaurants. A loud bedroom a/c unit and the inoperable gas grill were our only issues. Jacquie offered to send someone over but we decided that it could wait until we left. Pool was clean and very private with the sights and sounds of birds, butterflies, iguanas, and blooming fauna. Park like setting. Howler monkey’s don’t sleep in. All in all a very nice place.

The accommodations were perfect for my husband and 2 teenage boys. The 3 bathrooms were a plus! The air conditioning and pool were both pristine. The pool was beautiful and just cool enough to be refreshing. My boys 14 and 17 walked to the beach and found pick-up soccer games 2 days in a row. The location was perfect and we walked everywhere. From the moment we booked the communication was fabulous. All of our questions were answered immediately and the host went above and beyond to make sure we arrived and took the best route from Monteverde. The bridge was closed so we had to take a different route. The only thing we would have enjoyed more was a washer and dryer. There was a laundromat very close to the house which was great. Overall it was a really fun town and great accommodations!

Darla’s place was perfect for our group. We walked everywhere, great restaurants, coffee and yoga. Walked to beach and used the wonderful pool. The place was much better than pictures showed. Lots of thoughtful items to welcome us: wine, pineapple and coffee. The only thing you need to know is that they do not supply soap for shower or shampoo. We had to buy in town. Other two other stays in Costa Rica provide both. Would definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect. Darka and Jacquie were both extremely helpful. Provided fantastic instructions and made everything simple and easy. House was beautiful and clean. Great location. Would stay again.

We (a group of three couples and one baby) had a great time here. It is very close to the adjoining house- so even though the house and pool area visually feels private, the sound really travels and at times it felt overwhelmingly loud. We found that the house wasn’t quite equipped for six adults, there was not very many dishes, towels, etc. The hosts were wonderful and super responsive and accommodating and the house was beautiful.

Casa Mila was a welcoming stay at a modern home. The house is spacious and clean, private pool was a highlight! Its walkable distance to stores, restaurants and the peaceful samara beach. The host was super responsive and helped us in any requests we had super quickly and super positive attitude always. Clear instructions were provided to ease our stay. Will be coming back when visiting Samara.
