Lovely place to chill and forget about time. Beautiful villa in a gated community. All facilities available to be self sufficient, beach on your door step and communal pool never too busy. Only thing to make note of is there is no WiFi in the villa only at the pool as per property manager but in our case that suited us. Lovely restaurant within walking distance also and maim attraction we visited from here was rainmaker reserve, worth the trek (though expensive). Loved our four nights of unexpected down time during an otherwise busy holiday in costa Rica!

The Villa is super cute and was perfect for us. The a/c works great (we struggled with the humidity and heat, going inside was a great break from that). The mattresses are really firm, and the bed frames were a little noisy, but not so firm or noisy that we didn't sleep well. There's also not much lighting in the bedrooms, so once the sun went down we had to use flashlights. The natural lighting during the day is amazing as there are windows everywhere. There's not much near the villa's, so stop at the market in town on your way in. There is a bar/restaurant within walking distance, the food was good, the beer was cold, and the staff was very friendly. Patrick, the care taker, was easy to work with and conveniently located just a few doors down. The wifi is spotty in the villa (mine didn't work well but my husband's was fine), but does work at the pool. There are iguanas everywhere and we saw monkey's directly across the street. It was pretty amazing. I'd definitely go back.
