Nestled on a private 3-acre hilltop estate, this secluded oasis overlooks the Pacific Ocean where the ocean meets the mountains in perfect harmony. The property blends tropical forest with pristine sandy beaches, offering a peaceful and private environment close to the beach and surfing spots.
The estate borders Las Baulas National Park and is just minutes on foot from Playa Grande’s main surf breaks. It’s an ideal location for those seeking tranquility, comfort, and easy access to various leisure activities. Guests can choose to cook in or enjoy dining at more than a dozen nearby restaurants.
Casa Linda Vista (Main House)

The beach was fantastic. The house was great, but very windy inside because of all net instead of glas. Kai is very helpsam and is a great host!

Great house! We love the open and airy feeling. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing here. The property is secure and beach /town are an easy walk. I travel to CR several times a year and will definitely be back when in the area.

The place is beautiful, and Craig was there the whole time. However, almost no water came out of the showers, the sheets and towels were very old, as was the bedding. There were no cleaning supplies, and the staircase was dangerous, as a step broke when one of my children was going down. It was really dangerous. When we told Craig, he got mad at us, told us he had that ladder for 30 years and it had never broken. He didn't ask if anyone had been hurt. He just got angry and the next day he came to fix it. That attitude really caught our attention. The house is very nice, the place too, but it needs maintenance and the linens (towels and sheets need a good update). I asked for a hair dryer, and he told me to dry my hair with the wind, which was not within the specifications of the house. Then Craig apologized and we didn't leave early. It's a shame we can't recommend it, but that was our experience.

Great stay! Beautiful, spacious home, easily walkable to town and beaches, with easy parking if you drive. Kai is a perfect host! available quickly, helpful, proactive and unobtrusive. He went out of his way to help me deal with a flat tire. Laidback, friendly town. We were there in an unusually hot time and it was pretty uncomfortable during the waking hours, even with fans on. But was ok at night, definitely a great value, and probably more comfortable at cooler times of year.

My family of 5 had an amazing stay at Kai’s place in Playa Grande. This place has walkable beach access and is close to restaurants. The space had everything we needed. Highly recommend.

Craig reached out before we arrived and provided helpful information about check in. He was flexible and met us when we arrived. He reached out along the way and followed up if there was anything we were missing. Craig was nice, easy to deal with and simply a perfect host!

Thank you so much to host Kai. The interior is spacious, the estate is private and very intimate. You can hear a howler monkey in the morning and several birds. January was warm but not humid and even if there was no air conditioning, in the evening being cooler we slept well. Walking distance to sunset. Great place to relax, surf, a few small restaurants and cafes nearby that are very interesting. It takes a means of transport because it's a little far from Tamarindo, activities. The traffic has nothing to do with Tamarindo, Playa Grande is definitely a peaceful place. We are pleased with our stay here!

What an amazing place this was. The drive in to the property is magical. The house feels like a treehouse surrounded by nature and beautiful views. We walked to the beach every morning. Craig was a great host, helpful and kind. Highly recommend staying here.
