The Space
Casa del Mar is a beautifully renovated three-bedroom, three-and-a-half-bathroom home situated on the northern end of Playa Guasacate. Just steps from the beach, this residence offers two patios, a large balcony, a third-level deck, and a private pool.
The interior showcases terracotta floors, hardwood furniture, elegant Granada tile accents, and polished concrete countertops. On the ground floor, you'll find the kitchen, dining area, living room, the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a half bathroom for guests. The living room features a spacious wrap-around sofa and a Smart TV. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary cooking equipment, and meal packages can be arranged upon request for an additional charge.
Air conditioning is available in all bedrooms as well as the living room. Please note that using the living room AC incurs an extra fee of $30 per day.
Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. One bedroom contains a queen bed, while the other has two full beds. A large patio is located at the back of the house, and a spiral staircase leads to the third-level star deck, ideal for watching the surf or enjoying the night sky.
Guest Access
Guests have full access to the entire house. The property is located within a private neighborhood that offers 24/7 security and a welcoming atmosphere.
Location
Playa Guasacate is a scenic stretch of beach just north of Popoyo. The home is conveniently positioned near local restaurants, bars, and various activities available in the Popoyo area.
Additional Information
- Monthly rentals do not include utilities such as electricity and internet.
- A refundable security deposit of $500 is required before check-in.
- Electricity usage will be measured at check-in and check-out, and the bill will be calculated accordingly.

Karina's place is a wonderful spot for a relaxing getaway. The house is spacious, the pool offers a great respite from the sun, and it is truly a stone's throw to the beach. The location is ideal for those seeking privacy and quiet, but also within close driving distance to Popoyo and Santana's beaches and food and drink spots. You can also easily walk from the house on the beach or road to a handful of Guasacate bars and restaurants (20+ minutes on foot). Karina was very helpful in arranging transportation and getting supplies we asked for. Communication was clear and attentive throughout. Hope to be back one day soon!

Karina’s place is a great place to get away. We’ve been there multiple times and love it. Steps from the beach. The beach is amazing here. Close to restaurants and surfing if that’s what you like. The house is well stocked and clean. Karina communicates well and responds quickly. Would recommend Karina’s place.

We’ve stayed in another of Karina’s property’s before. She is speedy with her responses. If there is an issue she gets it taken care of in a timely manner. This property was everything we hoped it would be.

Our stay was wonderful. The house is perfectly located just steps from the sea and gorgeous beach, but there is a refreshing private pool that our family also enjoyed. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking your own meals, but we also visited a local pizza place and cafe. The beds are comfortable and we slept well. Perfect place for a family vacation.

The house is as described in the listing, and even better. The location is extremely peaceful and safe, just a few steps from the beach. The whole house was very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing family time. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Will be definitely coming back!

Karina was awesome to say the least. She always responded to any questions we had quickly and had so much insight on things to do and places to eat. The house was nice and comfortable for our family and came equipped with pretty much everything we needed. I can’t wait for our next trip back. We will definitely be booking with Karina again.
