The Space
Hefziba is situated on the tranquil and beautiful Ometepe Island in Rivas, Nicaragua. The property is located just outside the town of Moyogalpa, approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the town center or a 5-minute mototaxi ride from the port.
This listing is for Room 1 of 7 available rooms at Hefziba. Room 1 is a family room featuring three double beds and can accommodate up to six guests. The room includes air conditioning and a private bathroom with a fresh water shower.
WiFi is available, though the connection may be intermittent, so please consider this if you plan to work during your stay. Breakfast is available for purchase at an additional cost.

Location and Host Information
While I spend considerable time on Ometepe, this is not my permanent residence. The property belongs to my grandmother, who you may meet if she is not in Managua, the capital city. My cousin Augustin lives on-site permanently and will be available to assist you, along with our on-call translator.
My family on the island does not speak English, so I help facilitate reservations and communication with guests beforehand to ensure a smooth experience. Hosting is a family effort, and we hope you appreciate the care we put into making you feel at home.

Very nice and spacious place; they were very friendly and always attentive. The only thing is that they should check the air conditioning, because it didn't cool as well as in other places I've stayed. But everything was great. Thank you so much.

Cynthia’s place was located in a great area of town. It was quiet clean and cozy. Memo was there to greet us each day with a lovely breakfast and assisted in organizing a scooter for us one day as well as a guide to hike a volcano another day. We would highly recommend this house

The hosts were great and very accommodating. Good breakfast, clean room. We would definitely recommend staying here :)

Cynthia is a very responsive hostess to request by message. She was not there during our stay but her cousin took great care of us (she made it easy for us to rent a scooter by bringing her directly to the place). Her cousin told us good spots to visit and finally breakfast is very good
