The Space
Traveling together does not require everyone to follow the same schedule. At Casa Arena, guests can gather around the private pool, enjoy dinner together, and still retreat to their own bedroom and bathroom.
Most bedrooms open independently onto the outdoor terrace, allowing couples to turn in while the rest of the group continues the evening. Downtown La Fortuna is approximately five minutes away by car, making it easy to combine days exploring Arenal with time at the villa.
Casa Arena is well suited to groups of couples or friends, with a layout designed for both shared time and privacy:

The villa is located within a gated community with 24-hour security, approximately five minutes by car from downtown La Fortuna. Parking and laundry facilities are available.
Guest Access
Guests have exclusive use of Casa Arena, including:

The gated community and access roads are shared with other residents. Locked storage and maintenance areas are not accessible to guests.
Important Information
Four bedrooms open directly onto the exterior deck. Guests must walk outdoors to move between these rooms and the main house. Please consider this layout when traveling with young children.
Rates and Occupancy
- The nightly rate includes accommodation for 1 to 7 guests.
- An additional guest fee applies to each person from the eighth guest onward.
- Enter the correct total number of guests when booking so Airbnb can calculate the applicable total.
- Maximum occupancy is 20 guests.
- Check-in begins at 3:00 PM.
- Checkout is by 11:00 AM.
The private pool is unheated. Visibility of Arenal Volcano depends on the weather.
Exterior cameras monitor entrances, parking areas, and outdoor security zones only. There are no indoor cameras.
Because Casa Arena is located in a tropical environment, geckos, frogs, ants, and other insects may occasionally appear despite regular cleaning and pest control.
No pets, parties, or unauthorized events are permitted. Please keep outdoor noise low after 10:00 PM.

Wow. It it a beautiful house. Delightful pool, the place is huge and private, we felt it cozy. The kitchen is so well equipped! Celso brought extra details for making our stay cozier. Only suggestions are: Please don't push the "extra services" as much; i felt like my telephone number was shared with a lot of people. And please(!!) write a review back, it's a little courtesy after a guest has provided *much* time and effort to accurately describe the experience with you and give you valuable feedback. Pity that after check out, and sharing a video of leaving the house totally pristine, only silence replied to requests to write some feedback lines back :/ it could've been a perfect experience otherwise. :(

We had a wonderful stay at this house. The pool was great and ended up being one of our favorite parts of the trip. The room setup was fabulous, especially for the young adults who accompanied us, as it gave everyone a comfortable and practical space to relax. The home worked very well for our group overall, though the bathrooms could use some updates. That said, it did not take away from our enjoyment of the stay. One of the absolute highlights was the private chef experience with La Fortuna Private Chef, which was an AMAZING food experience. It added something really special to our trip and is something we would highly recommend. The concierge team was also excellent. They took care of all of our activities, last minute changes and supported our transportation requests without hesitation, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. The house is also well located for taxi and Uber transfers, making it easy to get around.

This is a BEAUTIFUL and spacious place; book it now! We had a group of 10 and there was more than enough space for everyone. We loved how there was the main house in the center with the kitchen and living room, with a room on each end, and then the other 4 rooms were on the ends in neighboring buildings. We arrived at night, so it was a bit tricky to find the Airbnb but after we did, it was smooth sailing. The pool is wonderful. We didn’t explore the back much, but the washer and dryer are back there. It was a wonderful stay - wish we would have stayed longer!

The property is truly beautiful, very well maintained, and located within a gated community. Please note that guests must carry either a passport or a Costa Rican ID to gain access. My wife had her Peruvian ID, which was not accepted as valid. Fortunately, we happened to have a photo of her passport, which allowed us to enter. We had a great stay overall, although the nights were not entirely peaceful due to cats fighting on the roof throughout the night. My main concern regarding this otherwise lovely property is the check-in and check-out schedule. The check-in time of 4:00 pm feels quite late, while the check-out time of 11:00 am is rather early. We requested an earlier check-in and were eventually allowed to enter at 3:50 pm. This is the only aspect that would make me reconsider a future stay, as everything else about the property was very good.
