Casa Canella

Louis's Samara home has set the bar against which all other AirBNB's are judged. I've stayed at AirBNBs around the world and this was our favorite. The home was immaculate, well furnished, and had a lot of little touches that elevated the experience. My kids (7, 4, and 2) loved the pool (perfect size and temperature for them), the constant visits from hummingbirds, and the sounds of howler monkeys. My wife and I loved the number and quality of plates, silverware, cooking utensils, outdoor area, and bedding in the house. Louis was extremely responsive and checked in to ensure our stay went well. The proximity to Samara and Playa Carrillo was perfect for our family.

Louis’s place was wonderful and I’d highly recommend it. It was our home base and everything inside and out helped to create that. The pool and setting area was perfect and our go to spot. All of Louis’s recommendations were great, and his communication and promptness was top notch.

Stayed here for a month with our 2 toddlers. The home was clean and super comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay, and the location was fantastic. It was an easy drive into town to hang out at the beach and local restaurants, but we also loved spending time at the home in the pool (with a view of the howler monkeys, butterflies, and gorgeous birds). On top of everything, Louis was an amazing host - responsive and had great recommendations for everything we needed. Cannot recommend this place enough - we’ve already booked our next stay!

We loved our stay at Louis’s house. We enjoyed the spacious home, outdoor gardens, and pool area. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed. The host went above and beyond and was very friendly. We would definitely stay again.

We loved this villa in Sámara! Louis was a terrific host and very responsive. His recommendations were spot on and it was lovely to have this peaceful place as a home base. The kids loved waking up to sounds of the jungle (howler monkeys!) and playing the in pool. The kitchen had everything we needed. It was great!

We loved our stay in the villa. It is a short drive to the center of Samara and the beach, yet it feels secluded and private. We even saw monkeys from the swimming pool! The villa itself is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful to make our stay comfortable - including by adding equipment like a microwave, bringing more beach towels, or replacing the crib when we realized one piece was broken. We appreciated the local recommendations - and the advice given when we needed a doctor in town. Highly recommended!

We cannot say enough about Casa Canela! It exceeded our expectations, and everyone has the most amazing time. The house was situated just the right amount of distance from the huddle and bustle of Playa Samara, but a quick 5 minute drive to the center of town. The pool and outdoor area made you more want to leave! We will definitely be coming back here! Thank you, Louis!
