Great place and the views were exactly like the photos (The volcano actually appears much closer then the photos portray). The property is very big, secluded, and private. Would definitely recommend any of the similar multiple properties Santiago has in this area.

Since it was very foggy during our stay, we were unfortunately unlucky that we could not enjoy the magnificent view of the volcano. There was a severe storm. It was very noisy at night due to the wind and rain. The bathroom was very damp. Check-in was easy, and Santiago was very friendly. He was always quick to respond to our messages. All in all, we were satisfied.

Our stay at Santiago’s place in La Fortuna was truly a 100/10 experience. The property is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, and surrounded by incredible scenery. What really made this stay exceptional was Santiago’s kindness and willingness to help. Due to airline delays, our travel plans were disrupted, and my brother ended up stranded at the airport. Santiago went above and beyond to help us during a very stressful situation. He did everything he could to find a chauffeur to locate my brother, pick him up, and get him safely to the property. He also provided us with amazing local recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. His hospitality, communication, and genuine care for his guests exceeded every expectation. If you’re visiting La Fortuna, I cannot recommend this Airbnb enough. Santiago is an outstanding host, and we would gladly stay here again. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

We enjoyed our stay at Santiago’s place. It’s beautiful and we enjoyed hiking in the morning to find toucan and other wildlife. Santiago was able to recommend great restaurants and book tours for us. The tour van picked us up at the house which was very convenient. You can use the hot springs down the road or enjoy your own private hot spring at the house with an incredible view. Can’t wait to come back soon!
