Just about every time I come to La fortuna I stay here. The free entrance to the trails is honestly one of the best things. I have experienced some of the best sloth views here. You will NOT leave without seeing a sloth. I’ve seen multiple other animals because the pond across from the cabins attract wildlife. The breakfast is delicious every time. It’s walkable to EVERYTHING! I can’t rave enough about this place. It was the very first place I ever stayed in La fortuna on my first visit to Costa Rica and now I’ve been living in CR for four years now. The room is basic like a hotel room (with a huge shower with hot water) and theirs a shared clean outdoor kitchen to store and cook your food if you want to be frugal.

Amazing place to stay! Great value which includes entrance to the trail and a big breakfast in the morning. Alex makes the best coffee in the world! My stay was perfect.

100% recommended. Quiet space, surrounded by nature, good breakfast, close to downtown Fortuna on foot.

This is in such a prime location and beautiful trail to get to the actual stay. The host was super responsive and helped us with everything prior to and after check-in. Very kind and thorough. Recommend!!

Lindisimo, looking for lazy on the trail during my stay. No success , but on the last day I was out of the place one saying goodbye is well worth it.

The accomodation was quiet, clean and beautiful! Also the owner and employees were really friendly and always there for any question/help. The outdoor kitchen was really clean and had all the stuff you need! Also the breakfast that was included was delicious and we were happy to be able to get the free entrance to the trail to see Sloths! We can recommend this accommodation 100 %!

We loved staying in the cabins here! Very comfortable & private surrounded by nature. We still felt safe walking into town because the paths were well lit after dark. Our stay included entrance to a nearby nature trail where we seen sloths & birds even without a guide. The local restaurants are walkable and it was a great place to set out for any sort of adventure.

Thank you Maria, a nice quiet place right behind the town of La Fortuna. Location is towards edge of town, but nice and quiet, off the main street. Easily walkable to the town, rolling a suitcase from the front of the entrance to the back is very difficult with the gravel road, breakfast was great, everyone was really kind and helpful. Felt very safe for a solo female traveler.
