Nestled on the edge of a protected nature preserve, Jungle Glory Home Abajo offers more wildlife experiences than a tour of the national park. Sit on the veranda by the pool and watch a variety of monkeys, birds, and other animals display their beauty and funny antics. This is a magical experience and a terrific location for participating in all the various beach activities and other nearby adventures! The space Jungle Glory Home Abajo's main house is open-concept, with floor-to-ceiling windows facing the jungle. It has two large bedrooms, both with ensuite bathrooms. The sliding doors open onto a veranda and pool with ample outdoor dining and lounging space. The main home also has a laundry room with a washer and dryer, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets. The third bedroom and bathroom are in the Casita, a stone's throw from the main house. The Casita is a fully contained studio with a well-equipped small kitchen, living area, and bathroom. It has floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto a small balcony in the thick of the jungle. Guest access Jungle Glory Home Abajo (lower) and casita are rented together, giving larger parties separate spaces or plenty of room to enjoy each other side by side. The main house living room couches can fold into two full beds if necessary. There is ample parking next to the house, with three broad steps to the front door. If steps are difficult, you can enter through the sliding glass doors on the other side of the house near the pool. Minor children should be supervised at all times while on the property. Upon arrival, the property manager, Chris Ayales, will greet you at the house. Please make sure you've established contact with Chris before your arrival. He will give you the remote for the gate, keys to the house, casita, and safe. Thank you. Other things to note Jungle Glory Home offers a unique experience that combines communing with nature and enjoying the culture of a traditional Costa Rican neighborhood in comfort. Jungle Glory Home Abajo is not a resort that caters to personal luxury. It's a lovely home, not a hotel. Power outages may occur (although they don't last long and are beyond our control), neighborhood dogs bark, roosters crow, monkeys howl, kids laugh, and occasionally play music. The property has a large water tank that pumps water to the three houses, so water shutdowns (a common municipality issue) are not a problem. The Jungle Glory Homes are on a walled-off 1.3-acre parcel bordering the backside of Manuel Antonio National Park. It's a stunning property—pure Magic! Each home is built on its quarter-acre lot and faces forward toward the jungle, offering great views and privacy. You won't share space with the other two houses and will have complete autonomy. Please remember that Costa Rica has a unique way of life. Visiting this precious country with a loving, open mind and heart will enhance your experience.
