The Space

Jungle Glory Home Abajo is a distinctive retreat situated on the edge of a protected nature preserve, offering an exceptional wildlife experience that surpasses even a national park tour. From the veranda by the pool, you can observe a variety of monkeys, birds, and other animals as they showcase their beauty and playful behaviors. This setting provides a memorable connection with nature alongside easy access to nearby beach activities and adventures.

The main house features an open-concept design with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the jungle. It includes:

• Two spacious bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom
• Sliding doors that open onto a veranda and pool area
• Ample outdoor dining and lounging space
• A laundry room equipped with a washer, dryer, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets

Adjacent to the main house is the Casita, a short walk away. This fully self-contained studio offers:

• A well-equipped small kitchen
• Living area
• Bathroom
• Floor-to-ceiling windows opening onto a balcony surrounded by jungle foliage

Guest Access

The main house and Casita are rented together, providing larger groups with separate living spaces or plenty of room to enjoy time together side by side. The living room couches in the main house can be converted into two full beds if needed.

Parking is available next to the house. Access to the front door involves three wide steps, but if stairs are a challenge, entry is possible through sliding glass doors near the pool on the opposite side of the house.

Children should be supervised at all times while on the property.

Upon arrival, the property manager, Chris Ayales, will welcome you at the house. Please ensure you have contacted Chris prior to arrival. He will provide the gate remote, keys to the house, Casita, and safe.

Location and Surroundings

Jungle Glory Home Abajo is located on a walled 1.3-acre parcel bordering the backside of Manuel Antonio National Park. Each of the three homes on the property occupies its own quarter-acre lot, facing the jungle to offer privacy and beautiful views. You will not share space with other houses and will have full autonomy during your stay.

Additional Information

This home offers a unique blend of natural immersion and the charm of a traditional Costa Rican neighborhood, all in comfortable accommodations. It is important to note that Jungle Glory Home Abajo is a private residence, not a luxury resort or hotel.

Expect occasional power outages, which are brief and beyond control. Ambient sounds such as neighborhood dogs barking, roosters crowing, monkeys howling, children laughing, and occasional music are part of the authentic local experience.

The property has a large water tank supplying water to all three houses, preventing interruptions common in municipal water services.
