Overview

Casa Mandala is a stylish rental home in the heart of Tulum’s beach hotel area. Set slightly back from the sea, the villa is surrounded by the tropical gardens and palm trees of the Mahayana beachfront property.

Although the house is set back from the shoreline, guests have unrestricted access to a private shaded palapa and lounge chairs directly by the sea. Excellent restaurants and yoga classes are only a few minutes away, making this a private oasis in Tulum’s boutique hotel zone.

The Space

Casa Mandala features a simple aesthetic, modern clean lines, and a strong connection to nature. A wall of glass doors opens from the main floor onto a patio with a private swimming pool.

The villa has three levels:

• The ground floor includes the living area and kitchen.
• The second floor has two bedrooms with separate sliding glass entrances from outside.
• The third floor contains the master suite.

The ground-floor kitchen is simple and suitable for preparing meals and keeping beverages cold. A large dining table provides space for shared meals.

Bedrooms

The two second-floor bedrooms include:

• One bedroom with a queen-size bed.
• One bedroom with a queen-size bed and a single bed.

The second-floor bathroom is shared, but each bedroom has its own entrance to the bathroom.

The third-floor master suite features 360-degree windows with views of the surrounding tree canopies. It includes a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. With its elevated setting among the trees, the master bedroom feels like an expansive treehouse.

All rooms have air conditioning, and fans are also available.

Location

Casa Mandala is located at kilometer 8 along the beach, next to Lula Wellness Studio, which offers yoga and fitness classes. The villa is also within walking distance of several of Tulum’s top restaurants, including:

The location is ideal for guests who want to stay in the heart of Tulum Beach and explore the area on foot.

Guest Access

Casa Mandala has a private swimming pool surrounded by tropical garden greenery for the exclusive use of villa guests.

The villa is part of Mahayana Tulum, a private property with four homes. The landscaped grounds are designed to provide privacy, while all villas share access to the following amenities:

• A second swimming pool beside the sea
• Boogie boards
• Sea kayaks
• A shaded seaside palapa and lounge chairs

A casual taco and breakfast bar is also located on the property, offering fresh food and drinks à la carte. Guests can enjoy their meals by the sea or in the privacy of their villa.
