Casa Adorada

Overview

Casa Adorada is a new home in the center of Guiones, situated on one of the town’s quieter streets. Its central location makes it easy to walk to nearly everything, including:

• The beach, even barefoot if you wish
• Restaurants throughout town
• Yoga studios
• Grocery stores

The property also includes private off-street parking, a swimming pool, and beautifully landscaped outdoor areas. High-speed fiber-optic internet is backed up by Starlink, while solar panels and batteries provide backup power.

The Space

Casa Adorada has four bedrooms:

• Two master bedrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, each with a king-size bed
• Two identical bedrooms on the main floor, each with two extra-long twin beds that can be combined into a king-size bed upon request

The two main-floor bedrooms share a bathroom.

Every bedroom features electronically operated blackout roller blinds, sheer curtains, and air conditioning. The main living area has two air-conditioning units. Each master bedroom also includes a private workstation with a desk for guests who need to work between surfing, yoga, and other activities.

The home’s internet connection provides 150 Mbps fiber-optic service, with an automatic Starlink backup that switches to whichever connection is performing best. A mesh network provides coverage throughout the house and outdoor areas.

A solar array with battery backup helps maintain power and internet access during the power surges and outages that can occur in Costa Rica.

Outdoor Areas and Amenities

The property includes:

• A private swimming pool
• Secure, off-street parking
• An outdoor shower
• Carefully landscaped outdoor spaces
• Private patios or balconies for both master bedrooms
• Patio access adjoining the pool area for the two main-floor bedrooms and exercise room
• Two large dining tables, each seating up to 10 people—one indoors and one outdoors

The fully equipped, air-conditioned gym is a unique amenity in Nosara.

Kitchen and Dining

The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, reflecting the hosts’ love of preparing meals. Spices are also typically available for guests to use.

Optional Private Casita

The property includes a private casita that is a completely separate unit. It may be rented together with the main house when available.

The casita has a separate entrance from the pool area. The door deadbolts from both sides, and casita guests do not share rooms or outdoor areas with guests in the main house. The only shared facility is the laundry room, which contains two sets of washers and dryers.

Please inquire if your group would like to add the casita to the booking. It provides an additional bedroom with a king-size bed.

Guest Access

Guests have access to the entire main house, except for a few closets used to store cleaning supplies.

The property also includes two sets of new front-loading washers and dryers, which guests may use. Entry is provided through an electronic gate, with a backup lockbox available so guests do not need to keep track of keys.

Construction Notice

As of March 2026, there are no nearby construction projects. Conditions may change over time, and the pricing reflects the possibility that construction noise could occur in the future.

Security Information

Your safety, security, and peace of mind are very important to us.

Petty theft is relatively common in Costa Rica, particularly involving portable items such as phones, laptops, and flip-flops.

The property is enclosed by a tall privacy wall topped with an electrified fence. Security cameras monitor the exterior perimeter.

Guests can also help deter theft by following these precautions:

• Keep the front gate closed except when actively using it.
• Keep doors and windows locked.
• Do not leave personal belongings unsecured.

Please understand that the property does not insure against theft and cannot guarantee that belongings will not be stolen. We take security seriously and do everything we can to prevent incidents so that your stay remains safe, relaxing, and enjoyable.

House Rules

No Pets

Pets are not allowed. Please do not bring pets, invite friends with pets onto the property, or encourage neighborhood strays to enter. This policy is necessary because animals have previously caused damage.

Violations of Rules and Policies

In accordance with Airbnb policy, guests are advised that violations of the property’s rules and policies may result in termination of the stay without a refund. We have never had to take this action, but we are required to disclose this possibility in the listing.
