Secret Cabin TOUCAN Ciudad Quesada San Carlos

We enjoyed our stay! We were hoping to see more animals but that’s not something that anyone can control. Beautiful views with lots of Toucans. My daughter loved the sweet, friendly cats that seemed to live on the property. We also enjoyed the firefly type bugs at dusk. Thank you!

A little hard to locate, but once you're there you won't want to leave!! The pool is not as nice as it looks in the photos, but we still used it. Henry was a wonderful communicator and exceedingly friendly. Would go again!

La cabane secrète porte bien son nom! Après avoir traversé un parking , qui aurait imaginer découvrir un paradis caché. Une cabane de bois, perchée dans la forêt et ouverte sur la nature!!! Tel que sur les photos, nous vivons avec les arbres au grès du vent. Cette expérience fût un de nos meilleurs souvenirs et Diego y a bien participé en nous partageant ses anecdotes de ce havre de paix. Cette halte fut un complément essentiel avec la côte pacifique et ses plage de surf. N’ayant que peu de jours pour visiter nous y reviendrons pour y découvrir le parc national et son volcan. Si tu aimes la nature , je te recommande fortement la cabane secrète . Delphine (Canada)

Diego was an amazing host with great recommendations and very responsive! We had a fantastic time and enjoyed the seclusion of the tree house but loved that we were minutes from everything! He was kind enough to give us charcoal for the BBQ so we had a great dinner with fantastic views!

Die Tucanhütte war riesig groß und sehr gemütlich, alles aus Holz . Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt . Man hat das Gefühl mitten im Dschungel zu sein . Beim Frühstück kletterte ein Faultier am Baum vor uns hoch und hat ihn die 3 Tage nicht verlassen , an denen wir in der Hütte waren . Diego hat uns Tipps für Restaurants gegeben und uns hat das Kleavers sehr gut gefallen . Wir empfehlen die Tucanhütte zu 100 % weiter .

Myself and three additional adults stayed at Secret Cabana Toucan for a week in January. Communicatin to help us locate Secret Cabanas was immediate, and check in was quick. The cabin was exactly as described/pictured. It was perfect for our group of four....two seperate sleeping areas/floors and two restrooms, simple (but equipped) kitchen and great viewing areas. What makes this place unique is that wildlife is - literally - right outside your windows and doors! We spent hours watching tropical birds, toucans, leaf-cutter ants, coati and sloths. All of which were within very close range! It was like living in the jungle....with the ability to have a hot shower, or run to town for groceries or dinner. If you are a person who enjoys nature, wildlife, serenity and living simply....this "jungle cabin" is for you! Thanks for a unique and relaxing vacation enjoying the many treasures of Costa Rica.
