The Space
This luxurious single-story home in Hacienda Pinilla features four bedrooms and four bathrooms, surrounded by beautiful gardens and a private pool. All the woodwork throughout the house is custom crafted by a local carpenter. Each bedroom is equipped with its own air conditioning unit for comfort.
The fully equipped kitchen and laundry room provide convenience, while WiFi and smart TVs ensure entertainment for the whole family. (Pre-stocking of groceries is available upon request.)
The main living area is bright and spacious, with an open-plan design combining the living and dining spaces. The dining area can accommodate up to 12 guests, and there is a breakfast bar with seating for four.

The Community
Casa Marina is situated within Las Brisas at Hacienda Pinilla, an exclusive resort designed in Hacienda style and surrounded by Costa Rica’s rich biodiversity. Guests can choose from four nearby beaches: Avellanas, Mansita, Bonita, and Langosta.

The Beach Club
The beach club features a restaurant, swimming pool, gym, and playground. Visitors can surf, relax by the pool, or enjoy spectacular sunsets.
As a guest at Casa Marina, there is a daily non-consumable fee of $5 starting January 2025. Children aged 10 and under are admitted free. Please note the beach club will be closed for maintenance from October 5 to 18, 2026.

The 18-hole, par-72 beachfront golf course provides stunning sunset views, especially from the secluded beachfront hole.
JW Marriott Hotel Hacienda Pinilla
Guests at Casa Marina have access to the JW Marriott Hotel’s various restaurants. Day passes are available for purchase, granting entry to all hotel grounds and amenities.
Playa Mansita and Bonita, near the JW Marriott, feature excellent tide pools during low tide.
Tennis Courts
There are two hard tennis courts on site, with an instructor named Sylvain offering private, semi-private, and group lessons. Regular activities include kids’ camps and pickleball events.
Mountain Bike Trails
Hacienda Pinilla boasts over 45 kilometers of mountain biking trails that wind through ranchland, forest, and coastline. These scenic routes cater to all skill levels, providing adventure and enjoyment for families, beginners, and experienced riders alike.

Hacienda Pinilla is a charming neighborhood with gorgeous private homes, of course, and a nice beach club. It is safe and easy to walk the neighborhood. I recommend surf lessons as the beach is not very swimmers-friendly but good for those who want to learn how to surf.

When staying here I had a great time with my family members. Both hosts were super responsive and attentive to our requests. Anything we needed to discuss was addressed right away. I would recommend the stay here. The only thing was that there were a lot of ants (which is expected because of the surrounding area) and I do think some of the dining/silverware should be updated. Overall it was a BEAUTIFUL and serene place to stay with great hosts.

Ideal accommodation to share with the family, safe, spacious, clean, with everything you need to have a perfect vacation. The pool is impeccable. The host Vanessa is always attentive and helpful with every detail. We will definitely use this accommodation again.

Pinilla is a very good place to stay with the best beaches in Costa Rica nearby. Vanessa is an excellent host, always helpful. The house has everything you need, very well distributed and very nice and cozy

I can’t speak highly enough about our stay. The house and grounds are even more beautiful than the pictures. The neighborhood is safe and peaceful, and access to the Beach Club was a big plus! Great food, fun to watch the surfers. We loved the quiet location between Tamarindo and Avellanas. Probably what stood out the most, however, was the excellent concierge. Vanessa and Flore were outstanding - incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. When we got a flat tire early one morning, they were quick to arrange another ride to a nonrefundable excursion, and even came to the house to wait while we were out and the tire was changed. They were always quick to respond to any questions, and their support helped ensure our trip ran smoothly. They have an extensive booklet of excursions and suggestions and they go out of their way to make arrangements and suggestions. Overall our experience was truly memorable and exceeded expectations, I hope to return someday!
