6BR Villa in Playa Langosta

Staying at Casa Islita was an amazing family vacation. We loved having our extended family in one house with plenty of personal space; the bedrooms were quiet and private since none shared walls. We used the pool daily and enjoyed the one-minute walk to the beach. Daily breakfast prepared by Mary Luz and Heiner was always a highlight —incredibly delicious and convenient. It made everything feel easy and relaxing. Mauricio was instrumental in our experience, handling all logistics, including airport transportation, golf carts, and excursions. When we had an issue with the safe, he immediately arranged a locksmith so we wouldn’t miss our flight. I highly recommend Casa Islita to anyone visiting Costa Rica!

Our family of 11 had an absolutely wonderful time staying here. Mauricio was the best from the start, scheduling excursions and restaurant reservations. He was proactive and either he or one of his staff checked in every day to see how we were doing. Mary Luz and Heiner were there every morning with a wonderful, HUGE breakfast and made the place spotless afterwards. There is something about hanging out in your pool and watching 15-20 monkeys climb around the trees right above you! The house was clean and comfortable and we loved having golf carts to drive into town for meals, shopping etc. We enjoyed every aspect of this vacation and would definitely stay here again

Mauricio did a phenomenal job helping to arrange all of our excursions. Mary Luz and Heiner was equally amazing as they prepared custom ordered breakfasts every day and kept the place extremely clean. Beach access was easy and the Langosta club access was also a highlight for the pool, beach, and workout facilities. Definitely recommend the stay.

Mauricio and all of the house staff were amazing! They took great care of this place and all of us. The add on for the local chefs were a great perk. They were conscious of our needs and very accommodating. The distance to the beach was great and easily accessible. One morning we had a group of over 20 monkeys in the trees of the backyard. We would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic stay! Best hosts I have dealt with at many rentals over the years. Great communication, responsive, friendly, and proactive. Mauricio helped reserve golf carts, made restaurant recommendations and reservations, organized airport transfers, massages at the villa, and grocery shopping. The house staff made a delicious breakfast every morning. The house looked just like the pictures, very accurate. Beautiful place with a nice pool. The neighborhood is gated and private. Access to Longasta Beach Club is great. Easy walk down to the sand to a secluded area of the beach. Can walk to the beach club from the sand. Overall, it was an amazing stay!

WOW, no words on this place other than exceptional! Mauricio was an amazing concierge - he booked everything and anything! From our surfing instruction at La Lagosta beach club to our chef Brandon we had two nights, everything was amazing. However, what truly made the stay, was the house staff - Mary Luz and Heiner. To say this house is kept spotless is an understatement, and the included breakfasts were beyond any expectation. They catered to our kids, and adults alike. Everything was impeccable top to bottom. Because of Mary and Heiner, mornings were enjoyable and seamless, having a cup of coffee outside - watching monkeys in your backyard! Short walk down to the beach, easy walk to the beach club that you have access to was an amazing bonus. The catamaran Mauricio arranged for us was phenomenal. We had the opportunity to see hump back whales. I would also recommend renting golf carts to be able to quickly jet into town - our kids loved doing this in the evenings. Overall, 10/10!

I can’t say enough good things about our stay in Tamarindo! The house is better than pictured and the view is unbeatable. You can walk or golf cart easily right into town. Our group of 13 felt so relaxed and happy. Mauricio, the house concierge, was so attentive and responsive. He made sure our experience was top notch and helped book all of our activities. Mary Luz and Heiner were fabulous chefs. They prepared us breakfast every morning and made us a beautiful paella dinner. When it came to the activities, surfing lessons at Langosta Beach Club were a blast (access to the beach club is a great perk). The instructors made it really enjoyable. The cherry on top of the whole trip was the Bali Catamaran ride. Gorgeous boat and scenery, with even better service from captain Luca and his team! I would absolutely come back to Tamarindo and highly recommend Casa Islita! This was one of the best vacations our well traveled group has ever been on.

Rent this place you won't be sorry.... It was the perfect for my large family of 11... The pool kept the kids entertained, the beach was a short 10 min walk and access to the Langosta beach club made you even feel extra special. Side Note: you can reserve cabana's for free with 24hr notice. The house staff was OUTSTANDING, I could explain everything but OUTSTANDING, covers it all. Let me be perfectly clear you felt like you had your very own shangralah. Town was a 3-4 minute golf cart ride and the grocery store was about the same. The community was gated so you felt very safe and everyone was very welcoming, friendly & smiling. My family said this was one of the best family vacations ever.... And we've traveled, Belize, Maui, St. Marteen, Lake Tahoe, Cabo, Puerto Vallarta, and this was our second trip back to Tamarindo, so when the family said this was the best vacation ever they're speaking from experience. So many thanks to all that made this a wonderful experience...

The property exceeded expectations. Even with a big group there are plenty of spaces for privacy - the design and layout of the property couldn't be done better. Access to the beach and ocean was perfect. The concierge was very responsive and super knowledgeable about everything in the area. Our group had unforgettable experiences recommended by and set up through the concierge. The house staff was also amazing. It was very easy and comfortable to have them around daily. They kept the place spotless and provided great breakfast options all week long. We also had some local chefs brought in (again at the recommendation of the concierge) to cook for our large group on two occasions. The meals provided were mouthwatering good and provided with top professionalism. Overall, we have many in our group that agree they have not had a better vacationing experience than we did here.
