Plaza Mercado #20 is a luxurious property located just steps from the beach within the Las Catalinas Development. This vibrant and elegant tropical home offers a spacious open-concept living area where the kitchen, dining, and sitting rooms flow seamlessly, making it ideal for couples or families to enjoy time together.
The condo spans over 2,123 square feet and comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests. The master suite includes a king bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. One guest bedroom features a king bed, while the other guest room contains two full-size beds and two twin-size bunk beds.
A travel crib is available upon request through the concierge team, subject to availability and an additional fee.
Professionally decorated, the property boasts upgraded mattresses and linens, along with a fully equipped kitchen featuring wood cabinetry, quartz countertops, and stainless steel appliances. Adjacent to the living area is an ocean-view terrace with a private dipping pool.
Guests also receive several complimentary items, including folding beach chairs, a beach cooler, beach towels, salt, pepper, cooking oil, soap, and shampoo.
Entertainment is provided via a smart TV where guests can log into their own streaming services; however, cable television is not included.

Las Catalinas Beach Club Passes
Beach Club access is available with daily passes, subject to availability:
- Adult Pass: $30 USD plus 13% VAT, with $15 redeemable toward consumables
- Child Pass (ages 8 to 12): $15 USD plus 13% VAT, with $10 redeemable toward consumables
- Children under 8 enter free with limited access
Swim and gym access is also offered:
- Swim & Gym Pass: $20 USD plus 13% VAT, valid from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM only
- Hours may vary, and access is limited and subject to availability
These passes provide convenient options to enjoy the Beach Club and fitness facilities during your stay.

El departamento es muy amplio. El diseño de gran calidad y muy bien equipado. La ubicación es excelente, tiene vistas hacia el bosque ya que está al final de las Catalinas. Y tiene el sector de restaurantes abajo del departamento. La playa también está a 2 min caminando.

Excellent location overlooking the main square and great view of the beach. It was more spacious than we expected. Overall the cost of Las Castalinas was more than anticipated. Our grocery order stated it would be purchase from outside of town to reduce costs but when it arrived it was in bags from the very expensive in town grocery store. Our only other issue was the bellman forgot our stroller in the golf cart and we left without it on our return home. Valeria was an exceptional host and helpful with any questions we had and with booking our excursions. Would stay here again.

This condo is one of many in a complex of buildings. It is a short walk to the beach and has several restaurants within walking distance. It was never mentioned that a beautiful new tennis center was available! There were several appliances that we struggled with as well as shower controls. No instructions unfortunately.

This place went beyond our expectations. It was a closer walk to the beach than we thought and pictures did not do this place justice. It is beautifully decorated and just steps away from restaurants, shopping, activities, coffee and beach. The host even helped me get my husband a birthday cake. We had a fantastic vacation and will definitely be returning!

Beautiful home! It overlooks the heart of town. The beach and restaurants were both within close walking distances. It was also well equipped with everything needed from a weekend trip to a month-long stay.

The quality of this home makes you not want to leave. My family lives here in Costa Rica and we wanted to come stay because my son goes to school downstairs at Elif and it was an easy decision to come relax and walk him down to school for a couple of days. This home is perfect for visiting with children because not only is there space for family and kids but there isn’t many items that small children can pull off of shelves and tables plus the school downstairs is amazing, trustworthy and has availability to care for children who are here with their families for vacation. I absolutely love this condo in specific and would love to come and stay to relax often. Blue zone did an amazing job responding to me, made sure I could check in early because I have small babies and even met me after my check out to he sure that I got back an item that I had forgotten. The pool is beautiful, the view is amazing. I highly recommend !

El lugar en si me gusto muchisimo, la casa es genial, el acceso a la playa super facil y accesible, lo unico que no ,e agrado es la hora de check Out a las 10 am, practicamente en no se aprovecha el dia del Check Out 10 am, y el Check In 3 pm (se pierden 2 dias). Pero aparte de eso el lugar es perfecto.
