Peaceful, an isolated haven of peace. Almost facing the sea in a large garden at your disposal. I recommend it for anyone who wants to disconnect. The very available caretaker is not far away just in case.

We spent three amazing days, said goodbye, and returned the same day because the next place had traffic noise. Then we stayed three more days. In fact, you don't need to go anywhere when you live here! You can go for a walk and see animals. Sitting in the kitchen and watching animals. Taking a swim at high or low tide. Take a walk on the beach at low tide. Go out on ocean kayaks. Cooking or driving 10 minutes to a diner/café with delicious freshly prepared food. There's a grocery store on the corner, and you can get back with the ice before it melts. You have a bedroom and a bathroom/toilet. The kitchen is a large room with a gas stove, a refrigerator with freezer, sinks, and various kitchen utensils. As you sit in the kitchen, monkeys, coatis, birds, lizards, and more will pass by. Here, there are only sounds from the animals. The property is managed by a lovely married couple who are very helpful while also offering a lot of privacy. Highly recommended for people seeking tranquility and authenticity.

This place is pure magic. We spent hours just walking the property and seeing tons of wildlife and listening to the jungle sounds. The kitchen area especially is a great place to spend time. The beach right across the street was also an exceptional place and lots of fun

Absolutely amazing spot! We felt right at home from the moment we arrived ! The grounds were just gorgeous and full of wildlife! We loved the outdoor kitchen which is so roomy and lets you hear all the monkeys and birds! The kayaking near the place was fantastic! We had fun fishing and seeing all the mangroves! We can’t say enough good things about the hosts who cooked many delicious meals for us and were just generally amazing! Room was perfect and comfortable with great decks for looking out over the grounds! Just a wonderful experience in some of the best natural surroundings!

What a little piece of paradise! We had a fabulous stay at Flor de La Osa. Mario, Flor and family looked after us well, giving us space to enjoy our holiday but always on hand to help, share Flor’s wonderful cooking or offer local tips if needed. It was a treat to use take out the kayaks provided and we particularly enjoyed exploring the mangroves. Tip top Airbnb - just like the photos and super clean too!

We enjoyed the proximity to manuel antonio while being a short walk to the beach. Very peaceful location. Mario and his wife are very welcoming, and do not speak any English, which was communicated ahead of time.
