However, if you want to adventure further, our home is a perfect homebase from which to go surfing in Matapalo or explore Corcovado National Park, which is accessible from the nearby La Cotinga Biological Station entrance, which is just 20 min away. While you may find everything you need within our oasis, the nearby town of Puerto Jimenez is just a ten-minute drive away, offering restaurants, grocery stores, shopping, pharmacies, banks/ATMs, medical facilities, and a commercial airport. Our charming caretaker, Mario, and his wonderful family live year-round in a separate dwelling on the property. They are always ready to assist with anything you need, providing peace and privacy, and offering many guests cherished memories from their interactions.
