3BR Villa in Playa Grande

We loved it so much! The house is beautiful, clean, super safe, and very comfortable. The pool is clean, and the outdoor shower with hot water is a great touch. We would definitely come back. Highly recommended.

The house and location are great! Exactly as described and has everything you need. AC worked great and the storage shed under the carport was great to store a surfboard safely. Super close to the beach and very quiet and peaceful in the backyard. Will definitely be back!

A beautiful house in the middle of the forest; it was perfect for our family. Wonderful beaches nearby. The house was very well equipped, comfortable, and well laid out.

This was our first visit to Costa Rica and Shawna's place was the perfect fit for our family of 5. The property was beautiful as pictured- a peaceful, private, light-filled sanctuary. Such a great spot to settle in after a long day at the beach or returning from an adventure. The location is convenient in that it is a short drive from the town where there are a variety of great spots to eat (all well outlined in the guide provided in the home). We had a wonderful stay!

Shawna’s place was fantastic. We throughly enjoyed the property and area. The AC works great and the home is cozy and clean. We felt safe in the gated community and the guards were friendly. The community is stunning, quiet and walkable ( but hilly). There was lots within a short drive. Our highlights were beach surf cafe, the food truck at the beach club and sunsets at playa grande beach. The pool is smaller than it looks in photos, but it was very clean and refreshing. The host was responsive and very accommodating and understanding. We would absolutely stay again.

We had a great relaxing time here, we used the pool every day and enjoyed the bird watching. We could here some howler monkeys in the distance for nice ambiance. The hoe was very clean and well kept and the kitchen was socked with a good supply of pans and utensils for cooking meals. It was no more then 5 minutes to drive to the beach and you can walk there as well in about 15 minutes. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity arises.

We had wonderful and relaxing stay in Playa Grande. Shawna provided detailed instructions and recommendations. The house is fully stocked. We loved the outdoor space and property.

Shawna took very good care of us!! Thank you very much!! The only thing I would improve is to offer guests housekeeping during their stay with staff who have good presentation, that complements the experience and comfort of the accommodation. But overall, the house and the place are very nice!

To say we were sad to leave is a very big understatement! House and the entire area is so relaxing and beautiful! Sometimes when I read reviews and I see that the host was helpful it makes me think there was a problem with the place because why do you need to speak with the host? In this case I will say it is completely the opposite! Shawna is simply outstanding and having her as a support made our stay so seamless from restaurant recommendations, booking the best boat tour with Life is Better at Sea, to transportation and more she was fantastic! Thanks again for a super memorable family vacation and we can’t wait to come back!
