Nestled between a natural reserve, it is conveniently close to major attractions such as hot springs, the rainforest with its hanging bridges, and the La Fortuna Waterfall hike.
The outdoor area is thoughtfully designed to help you relax and leave your worries behind. Please note that due to local plumbing and septic system requirements, only waste should be flushed—no tissue or other materials.
The home features extensive glass elements, enhancing the immersive experience with nature. Daily complimentary housekeeping is available upon request to ensure a five-star stay.

Impressive house & incredibly clean, but the garden is the stand out feature. Don't go outside without your camera, as we saw loads of birds including Kingfishers, Hummingbirds & 3 types of Toucans. Pool is nice, it's a spring fed pool (accounts for the name of the place I guess), though it was getting quite dirty & a bit green about 3 days in to our stay. Needed a clean, though the very heavy rain was a factor. The house is big & comfortable, especially the beds. 3 en suites though we had to stop using a bedroom & bathroom after a strong sewage smell made them unusable. A shame as we booked 3 bedrooms for a a reason, we raised the issue but didn't insist & though aware of it nothing was done, caretaker came but said there was no smell (there was)! Overall an impressive home but we got it for a bargain as it was very last minute. I'd feel differently, & be more critical, if I'd paid more, but we'll always remember the hours we passed just looking & listening to the wildlife.

Daniel's villa is beautiful, with nice open spaces, in a lush garden populated by birds. A little away from La Fortuna, which is very nice. A very cute little soda shop is a 3-minute walk away, and otherwise, there are multiple activities easily accessible by car. The pool is huge, and it refreshed us well after the hikes. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and the bedrooms are large and each have a large shower room. There is a large protected outdoor space, with tables and 3 hammocks that allow you to enjoy the garden despite the rainy episodes! Fantastic stay at Daniel's!

We stayed here and toured the local areas. The place is so relaxing. We watched the birds every morning. The house was clean and tidy. The pool is a little cold, but we loved it on hot days. A beautiful stay for our first time in Costa Rica.

We had a great stay at this beautiful property! Absolutely gorgeous gardens, a beautiful kitchen, and lots of outdoor living space to enjoy the beautiful scenery. The property is about 10-12 minutes outside of town, so very quiet and secluded. All throughout the day, you can sit outside and watch and listen for birds, frogs, etc. From the porch, we were able to watch toucans, iguanas, frogs and numerous other birds and butterflies. It really was the perfect place to relax after spending our days hiking, rafting and ziplining. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. Between inside and outside living areas, there was plenty of space to spend time together and also have a little distance when we wanted it. Daniel was a great host. He helped with arranging our rental car, tour guides etc. The guides he works with are great, and I highly recommend Adrian and Gustavo for guided hikes at Hanging Bridges, Rio Celeste and El Silencio. We saw so much more with themthan we would have on our own.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time in this gorgeous spot. The photos don't show how beautiful this place is. It's very private, and we enjoyed birding in the yard, feeding the geese, and exploring the property. We would love to return someday!

Wow! We stayed at this fantastic place for 7 nights as a 2 family group of 9 people. The property is absolutely gorgeous. Many afternoons and evenings we just sat birdwatching and playing in the pool. We saw toucans, basilisk lizards, iguanas, frogs, muscovy ducks, mot mot birds, baby ducks, and so much more from the covered porch area. The sounds of the cicadas, frogs, and howler monkeys were nice for the ambiance. We also took advantage of the private chef for 2 nights. Food and drinks were so great and it was nice to be waited on without having to go anywhere. The concierge service through Alexa and Adrian was seamless. We booked nearly every activity we did through them and got discounts and special bookings - even a few last minute. We really enjoyed our Pura Vida experience!

This was a slice of heaven. Daniel was amazing and the property felt like you were in your own world. So beautiful and well maintained. The check out note saying “please just turn off the AC and we will do the rest, we want you to enjoy your vacation “ was amazing. My wife always stresses about Airbnbs when you have to wash linens etc. Could t recommend this house enough. We were there with 4 kids (ages 11,9,7,4) and the pool/grounds were amazing for them. My middle son said “dad this is the best house we have ever stayed in”

Property is beautiful and full of wild life. There was a little soda typical restaurant within walking distance with great food. Awesome spot and it was exactly what my family was looking for.
